The December #athleteofthemonth is @perzadamc . Adam is a man with few words and amazes people with his strength and capabilities. Adam is polite, friendly, a joy to be around and we are so luck to have him. He is extremely dedicated to his fitness and will show up at any class from 530 am's to sneaking out of the house on stat holidays just to get it in. Also not unusual to see Adam rolling around on the ground after a good WOD.
Here are a few things about Adam:
Q- What was your fitness before CF?
A - I played Soccer, Rugby and Weightlifting (Globo Gym style)
Q - How long have you been doing CF?
A - I've been crossfitting since 2011..back before anyone knew what it was and it was hard to find more than one crossfit gym in any given city!
Q - Favorite movements
A - My favourite movements are gymnastic type movements- toes to bar, pull ups, muscle ups etc.. Q - What are you most proud of through CF?
A - The biggest thing I am proud of through crossfit is the constant improvements I've made year to year in a variety of different movements. I remember struggling with movements or with weights that I can now do or move through with ease!
Q - Guilty pleasures?
A - They include Pizza, Cherry Nibs and Chapman's Cappuccino flavour frozen yogurt!
Q - Words of wisdom for new CrossFitters?
A - My words of wisdom for new people checking out crossfit is that crossfit is for everyone..even though you might not feel confident starting off you will get better and the best thing about it is that there is always something to work on or get better at which keeps you coming back for more. - 15 days ago
