I used to think working my ass off in the gym a couple times a week or for a few weeks at a time would allow me to take more time off or have more fun on the weekends. I later came to understand that celebrating is just that, celebrating. Unless there is something to rejoice in, there is no need to party. You simply can not afford to have muscle creation shut off for 3 days of the week, and when you drink, that is exactly what is happening. Consistency will alway beat out intensity.⠀⠀

I used to buy into fitness fads. Things like fit tea, shape waists, anybody wraps, or even these BCAA sugar drinks that are being sold. It is all crap and lies to try to lead you to believe that there is an alternative to plain old fashion hard work. I am sorry to say, there is no replacement! Spit out that fit tea, take off the stupid shape waist (you are still fat under there, you ain't fool'n anyone) and throw that BCAA crap out.⠀⠀

I used to listen to IG "fitness guru's" or other "so-called" experts. I learned over the years to never second guess myself or my education and ability to learn. Most of these "experts" I have encountered thus far is usually the least educated and usually panhandling inaccurate, or more often, incomplete information to gain followers bc it is shocking or catchy. Find someone who actually loves what they do and they love it bc they love to care and help others. I am not saying come to Dr.KwaZ, but find someone who will care for you and your family. ⠀⠀

I always try to focus on the basics, like proper form and technique. I focus on being consistent and not straying to far from my macro's. You need to remember, slow and steady progress is lasting. Quick gainz will often become speedy losses.⠀⠀

Discipline, Commitment, and Patience. You add these words to your mind and live by them for the rest of your life I promise you that you will achieve whatever it is that you want. Whatever journey you choose, they all require those three words. Your journey is going to have its ups and downs but JUST KEEP GOING... YOU WILL fall of the horse. What separates you from the others who don’t really want it is how fast you get back on the horse. On the left pic I was at 180 pounds. 14 years old at about 5’5. I never actually got serious about changing my lifestyle until May 1st 2017. On the left pic I am 142 lbs at 5’6. I lost a lot of fat and now I’m focusing on putting on muscle. 2018 will be nothing but GAINZ GAINZ GAINZ. Thanks to these three who gave me a kickoff to my journey @shomoshotime @deemmooo @drkwaz
