Every season a weekend is organised where we practice stillness and movement.

Through different situations and creative tasks we research observation, sitting, walking, standing, we coordinate our body, draw, work with abstract objects.

By sharing our experiences we become katalysts for each other's progress.

STRUCTURE

Movement

We start with a morning practice of "The Form", a 8,000 year old sequence of rhythmically opening the '9 circles' in the body and observing our psychophysiological state before we start the day.

Further during the weekend we will work on movement situations alone and in collaboration with others and creative tasks testing our behavioural flexibility and discovering through uncritical self-observation how we cope with different contexts and stressors.

1REP MAX TO 7REP MAX
Our boy Tom Vervloet just did that!
Tom tested his 1Rep Max before he started our Hypertrophy Camp II and he clocked in at 40kg.

Now after 8 weeks he's benching 40kg for 7reps!

It's all in the details:
• Tempo

• Nutrition
• Consistency

TENSION LEAKS YOUR ENERGY

You do not need to be in a better shape, you need to hold less tension.
One of the main reasons why we are tired during the day is because we are tensing up parts of our body without need.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We need to re-learn to economise our energy and physical tension is one of the biggest leaks that drain us.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you wish to have more energy, then it is not just a matter of doing more cardio as you will be depleting yourself even more.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is very simple in theory but not so easy in practice. And if you built the habit of tensing, you need to practice not tensing.

How do you break through negative thinking and emotions?
Do you ever notice that when you are feeling a certain way and thinking certain thoughts, you are sitting a certain way?

THEY ARE CONNECTED!

Feeling - Thinking - Moving
It's a vicious circle.

HOW DO WE BREAK IT DOWN?
Change your posture or how you sit. Try to cross your other leg over. If you're slouched, try to sit upright with a long spine. Look for expansion.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
WHY?
Most of us always go back to the same handful of postures because it is convenient. Notice how some of these postures make you feel and what goes on in your mind.
