About the other night...
A few of my friends (minus 3 who couldn't attend) who really helped me during my divorce all came together to celebrate at #negrilbk . Nope, the divorce isn't final until March and I won't know what the divorce split I have to pay will be. But this was more about me finally having closure. It's done. I don't have the 9 year anxiety of trial and anxiety of the unknown outcome.
At this point it is whatever the judge decides but more importantly I Made it Thru! I realized my strength while in that struggle and I learned to ask for help. Both powerful. I learned that I do have good friends who care. Friends who stay up til 5am helping me add 9 years of receipts and doing spreadsheets for court. @yourbizsargeant got me a laptop and sat for hours doing the numbers, and so many more helped or came to court or just called me to say Hold On. My parents loaned me money. I have NEVER asked them for anything so it was a humbling experience.
So moving toward 2018 we celebrated freedom. We celebrated peace. We celebrated faith. We celebrated friendship. And come March the divorce party, once it's final, is gonna be EPIC! Get ready.
