@bentoncosmetic has recently launched Dear My Best Friend Bar and I was lucky enough to be one of the first few people to try this product. Benton BF bar is a naturally derived soap, it is said to contain vegetable oil base and various botanical ingredients that are moisturizing enough thus making it a decent soap for face. This product comes with a foaming net, which I am a fan of, btw. While the bar foams well enough on it's own, the foaming net makes it even better. I don't really take the soap off the net, I just rinse it well and air dry.
I've been using this soap for over two weeks now and I'm finally ready to share my 🗨️thoughts. When I first open the soap packet, I was a little disappointed because it's not the best smelling soap out there. It doesn't smell floral or fruity, or anything like standard bathroom soap, this one smells a little herbally to me. Over the course of usage, however, I ended up really liking the scent because it appeals quite relaxing to the senses. I especially enjoy this soap after a looooong stressful day! Initially, I only used this to my body but there are some days when I'm running late so I use this one on my face too and it feels pretty okay. My skin doesn't feel dry or tight after using soap, in fact, I even find it moisturizing enough to be used on my face. For reference, I have oily skin. 😶 To be honest, my skin finds this soap equally moisturizing to creamy body wash like dove and olay but what makes this soap better is the fact that it can be rinsed quite easily. While I cannot say that this soap is the most hydrating/moisturizing soap in the market, it was decent enough for me.
All in all, Benton BF is a nice soap to try. I like how it's able to provide moisture without making my skin feel heavy or filmy. My only gripe is that it appears to melt faster than your average soap or maybe its just me? Thanks again @bentoncosmetic for letting me try this product. ♡ - 5 hours ago
