I feel that so many people overcomplicate this, while it’s really simple (not easy). Today I’m bringing you a 5-step fat loss checklist to see if you’re on the right path. 👇

1️⃣ Calorie deficit – If you want to lose weight, you MUST be in a calorie deficit. If someone tells you otherwise or says that you can burn fat by eating specific food/taking supplements, tell them to fuck off and run from them as fast as possible.

Alright, now when we got that outta way, how to figure out your fat loss calories? That's simple, just multiply your body weight by 12-13, and you'll get a really good estimation of your starting daily calories. From there adjust calories according to your progress - You want to take it slow, sustainable, and enjoyable as possible. 😊

2️⃣ Protein Intake – Second one is your protein intake, you need anywhere between 0.9-1.1g/lb of bodyweight to preserve your lean muscle, or possibly build new muscle. If you’re obese it may be better idea calculating your protein intake with your lean body mass * 1.1-1.2.

3️⃣ Strength training – Anywhere between 2-5 workouts per week will do the job and make your body focus mostly on losing fat while preserving lean muscle mass. It doesn’t matter whether you train 2 or 5 days since all of them are effective and optimal if training program is good, so when choosing your split make sure to adjust it accordingly to your lifestyle and schedule.

4️⃣ Cardio – I see so many people considering cardio as their number one priority while losing fat. That’s wrong, and you should only use it as a tool to burn more calories which will help you to hit a calorie deficit easier. Don’t overdo it. -
5⃣ Sleep – This one is pretty self-explanatory, try to get in 6-9 hours of sleep each night. -

Gaining muscle requires consistency in going to the gym, getting enough of the right nutrients and properly timing your meals throughout the day.

It is physically challenging because you have to destroy and shock your muscles into growth and continously repeat this process. Because muscle is more dense than fat, seeing muscle growth takes time! Enjoy the journey!

Присед с вертикальным жимом гантелей заставит тебя выложиться на полную, так что будь готов(а). Упражнение позволяет проработать ноги, кор, ягодицы, руки и плечи. То есть практически все группы мышц в твоем теле! 
Техника выполнения упражнения: - встаньте прямо, возьми в руки по гантели, подними их на уровень плеч.
- опускайтесь вниз, сгибая колени до тех пор, пока бедра не станут параллельны полу. Держи спину прямо, не выгибай ее. Затем встань и подними гантели на вытянутых руках ровно над плечами.

Monday morning, and it started with a #MondayVibe until I decided I didn't want it to feel that way with the yucky dreary sky outside. I decided I wasn't going to let anything dampen my fire today. Working out used to make uncomfortable and cranky, and to be honest, sometimes it still does at the beginning of most of my workouts. BUT... that always changes about halfway through, and I always feel so much better and happier the second half and especially once it's complete. I'm falling in love with finding out how much stronger I can get. My body is capable of so much more than I allowed it to do for so long. The meditation I've added to each day is also helping my mental and emotional strength as well. This fire bird is about to rise up from her ashes, folks. It'll be glorious!!! 😍🔥🔥🔥💕✨ Floor core and resistance training again today, and it feels incredible! Time for breakfast and showers. Make your Monday vibe the way you want! 1️⃣ Calorie deficit – If you want to lose weight, you MUST be in a calorie deficit.

Alright, now when we got that outta way, how to figure out your fat loss calories? That's simple, just multiply your body weight by 12-13, and you'll get a really good estimation of your starting daily calories. From there adjust calories according to your progress - You want to take it slow, sustainable, and enjoyable as possible. 😊

2️⃣ Protein Intake – Second one is your protein intake, you need anywhere between 0.9-1.1g/lb of bodyweight to preserve your lean muscle, or possibly build new muscle. If you’re obese it may be better idea calculating your protein intake with your lean body mass * 1.1-1.2.

3️⃣ Strength training – Anywhere between 2-5 workouts per week will do the job and make your body focus mostly on losing fat while preserving lean muscle mass. You shouldn't just say forget it my resolutions are already ruined, just work to get on track and do the best you can. Remember there is never a perfect time to start, so just start now!! Today we start week 4 of the January workout plan in my online boot camp. My girls are ready to start the week off strong with a good workout, lots of water, and healthy eats.
