I have a confession...
I love @pestleandmortarcosmetics .
It was last year december when I stumbled upon their site and after a little bit of research I fell and I fell hard! The packaging is simple but elegant and cool. The products are vegan and soft yet super effective. They are Caroline Hirons approved and the master mind behind this whole operation is a woman Sonia Deasy. So what is not to support?
It was time to repurchase two old loves and hopefully one new one! .
Pure Hyaluronic Serum:
Ive been using the Niod MMHC but I kept dreaming about this little baby. It is one of my OG skincare loves and putting it on my face again has been so comforting. A simple but so hydrating formulation with sodium hyaluronate, vitamin e, glycerin and ceramides. I hopefully will never be without it again!
. ☄️Superstar Retinol Night Oil: since I, for most of this year, have been on prescription tretinoins I havent really gotten the chance to try this out but Ive heard a LOT of good things. A nice cushiony oil base delivers two types of vitamin A. Just looking at the ingrediënt list made me excited. It seems like an amazing blend of potent antioxidant-filled oils with the refining treatment (but no flaking) that I am hoping to get from a retinol product like this. .
🍋Hydrate Lightweight Moisturizer: last but certainly not least. I happily used up my last tub of this. Its super lightweight but contains loads of peptides and other beneficial extracts. It comes in an airtight pump that protects your product until its final days (one issue: the pump on my new jar doesnt work???? Ive pumped it a hundred times and no product wants to come out. So right now I have to unscrew the lid to get to the goods). It is great for in the mornings under makeup or at night layering over oils. .
Overall I am so glad I have these products in my collection once more and I'll make sure to update you guys on the retinol! - 23 hours ago
