Today’s full #legday workout. I went in today with the plan to be a total badass and rock my #sumodeadlifts but i guess eating almost nothing but sugar yesterday wasn’t the best fuel ⛽️ for my workout😑 Duh! I really need to quit that crap 💩 #stresseating .
So I did the best I could and then moved on to some other glute and hammie moves and had one helluva PUMP by the time I was done. Move over Kim K, this girl is all booty!!😂

Wholly shit...looking at these pictures truly shows me that all my work and consistency is working! 
The red dress was 2 years ago to the weekend as the purple shirt! 
I am still in shock of myself...its only taken consistency, determination, and support! Literally less than 45 min a day too!

I can't wait to see what my body looks like in 2 more years!  Hell by then I'll be almost 42!  Damn I'll be one 🔥 momma!

Stress. It's impossible to completely avoid it in the world we live in today, but one can absolutely control the amount and degree to which they allow it in their life (its about choices...health 1st!). In working with countless clients, I've found that many come to me in hopes of finding a "magic" fix for their adrenal fatigue/imbalance and/or thyroid issues; whether it be that "one" supplement that will "fix" everything, or the "perfect" diet that will allow them to drop the stress induced weight quickly (all while continuing to live the stress filled lifestyle that brought them to where they are today). I find that most clients are very willing to change their diet, implement an exercise routine and follow a health supportive supplement plan, but when I get to the point where I ask that certain lifestyle habits be changed, I'm often met with resistance. An example of change might include, getting off the electronic devices a few hours before bed and instead read a book or go for an evening walk and "smell the roses". "But that's the only time I can catch up on emails", one might say. Studies have shown that blue light from electronic devices can be more stimulatory than 240mg of caffeine! That's the equivalent of taking 2 shots of espresso or drinking 2 cups of Joe right before bed (pretty sure most of you wouldn't do that)! And it supresses Melatonin, which impacts our (adrenal) circadian rhythm and in turn hormones! My point of this post is this. It is the cumulative effect of lifestyle, environmental, diet and appropriate supplement choices that will allow you to progress forward (or not) on your health journey. There is no "magic" pill or quick fix out there that will do it! Stress accumulates in the body over time. So the time it takes to heal will depend on how long you have been under stress (years for many), the current stage of AF you are in, your commitment to making changes in your lifestyle, environment, diet, etc., as well as your mindset (positivity)...everything starts in the mind (the body does what the mind tells it).

It was BACK DAY! Gotta train those ‘go’ muscles, not just your ‘show muscles’. Pull-ups and deadlifts are probably my two favorite strength moves that make me feel like Wonder Woman! .

I lift, train and move for the love of it, the joy of getting stronger, the excitement in seeing what my body can do and because it makes me feel amazing! .

Day 2 of this challenge is complete! My alarm will go off to get myself in bed on time so i can continue to treat my God-given body well. Before pictures and measurements taken. Yes, I cringe a little looking at the pictures. I have stretch marks from carrying 3 beautiful babies. Yes, the scale says I’ve gotten off track since the holidays, but that’s just a number and it reminds me to focus in on my food choices. I want to be healthy and strong for my family and those i serve. I want to feel well and have energy to do what I’m called to. Stayed tuned for progress. Watch my IG stories as I share this journey. Day 2 of 80 Day Obsession is in the books! I am loving the workouts and the timed nutrition is growing on me. 
I still shake my head at myself when I think how I was so overwhelmed over the weekend stressing over what I was going to fill all my color coded containers with.  I seriously almost said screw this it’s too hard. 
The main reason I didn’t give up
Is because I need a challenge.  I haven’t been challenged like this in nutrition since last year when I did the Ultimate Reset and it  was only 3 weeks...this is 13 weeks!! I’ve found myself several times tonight catch myself from putting food in my mouth.  I almost licked the spaghetti sauce spoon, I almost took Dan’s leftover spaghetti, I almost went to the pantry for a snack.  It had become such a habit! 
So what you say, who cares? I do.  I care enough to share with you because I want to inspire you to at least think about your health. 
I know I will succeed simply because I’ve made the decision to make the sacrifices that it takes to get the results I desire. 
I’m not saying I won’t have challenges, slip-ups, days I totally suck....I’m saying I will NOT quit. 
I may fall down, but I won’t stay down.  I’m extending my hand to you to come along with me.  If you are the least bit curious about what I’m doing, ask me.  I don’t judge and I’m not just trying to sell you a product to make $$. The products sell themselves. 
The hardest part is convincing you to believe that you need and can actually do this! 
I have no doubt that by the end of this 80 Day journey I will be changed !

Day 2 of 80 Day Obsession is in the books! I am loving the workouts and the timed nutrition is growing on me. I still shake my head at myself when I think how I was so overwhelmed over the weekend stressing over what I was going to fill all my color coded containers with. Dinner. Ummm it looks almost like what I had for lunch 🤔. It tastes nothing like lunch I promise. Ok what’s in the HUGE bowl?? 300g of steamed cabbage, 200g of grated zucchini, four ounces of chicken (yes, I know it’s weird I weight meat in ounces. It’s just what my brain knows so throw me a... chicken bone 🍖). Then in a skinny pad Thai sauce. That is... 50g PB2, 1tbsp of green curry sauce, 2tbsp Tamari, and 6tbsp of water. I only used about half of it. High-volume, low calorie. Tons of yum! .

So ALL DAY I've been playing with apps. I was trying to find the one that glitters (animated on still photo) and I found it, but I can't apply the effect to a photo which has already been taken (I think 😊😊). I'll figure it out. In the meantime, this is the best I could come up with.

📍How do you find time to workout so much? Especially with a career and four kids?
📍Does the husband workout?
📍Why do you workout so hard? Do you actually like being pushed that hard?
📍Was it hard after you had babies?

I don't workout for hrs daily. But I get it, it's what I choose to share here in the land of insta. I workout 4-6hrs/wk, usually 5 days/wk. This may ⬆ to 6-8hrs/wk in the summer when I do some longer 🚲s outside.

My time is limited so yes, I like to train with intensity. But more than that - effectively - is most important to me. And absolutely yes, I love being pushed hard. It's an escape for me.

Difficulty level of reclaiming my body back post 4 babies - um, level 1Million. There's no sugarcoating the whole post-natal thing. It's hard AF. It's a slow climb. It takes patience. There's no magic pill. Whether you have the most amazing trainers or you workout solo at home, you are the only one who can put in the work (and eat well). In my humble opinion, it comes down to work ethic. If you really want it, you'll find a way. But if you love it, it doesn't feel like work.

Yes, J exercises too. He spins 3x/wk. We do not train together as we would drive each other batshit crazy. And he knows this. He has zero interest to train how I train. And that's a-okay with me. He has his time. I have mine. I think this is important in a hectic household like ours.

Why I'm doing 80 day obsession... When I started with Beachbody 2 1/2 years ago my weight was ok.  I was a size 4/6. Although I looked ok, I was sick. All. The. Time. And my blood pressure was sky high. The only reason anyone could come up with for the high blood pressure was genetics and diet...lots of processed foods. I started with 21 day fix to tone up and learn to eat properly. Although I maintained my weight I dropped 2 pant sizes!! Today I weighed myself and I am at 122.5. I've been bouncing between 118 and 122.5 for a few months. I've never been that weight except during my pregnancies. My clothes all still fit though so I know a lot of that weight is muscle.  My father passed away unexpectedly in June after a 2 year long fight with diabetes. There's been a lot of stress from that so I'm looking forward to dealing with that stress in a positive way. 
So my goal is to take control of my eating again and drop back to 115-117. I want to build muscle, lift and shape my booty, and build my abs as much as possible. Gestational diabetes caused me to swell everywhere and ruined the skin on my stomach. But I have 2 wonderful kids! 💙💜 I will turn 45 in May and I want to be in the BEST health and shape of my life! 👊

I've been bouncing between 118 and 122.5 for a few months. I've never been that weight except during my pregnancies. My clothes all still fit though so I know a lot of that weight is muscle. My father passed away unexpectedly in June after a 2 year long fight with diabetes. There's been a lot of stress from that so I'm looking forward to dealing with that stress in a positive way. So my goal is to take control of my eating again and drop back to 115-117. I want to build muscle, lift and shape my booty, and build my abs as much as possible. Gestational diabetes caused me to swell everywhere and ruined the skin on my stomach. But I have 2 wonderful kids!
