Getting your legs to grow takes time, patience, and a grind like no other.

Here's a story for you. When I first started working out, I had no idea what I was doing; but I heard enough people say "never skip leg day" that I knew I should be training my legs.  So I trained them every workout.

Fast forward 10 years, and my legs are my best body part.  I put in the work, they grew, and now I never train them hard because I already invested in my leg training.

So train your legs frequently using big compound movements (Bulgarian Split Squats are the greatest leg builder of all time), and train in all rep ranges.

Tracking macros is one thing, but if you want to truly be jacked, you need to incorporate simple habits into your lifestyle.
-
If you have these habits in your life, anything you want to accomplish will be easier, whether it's fat loss or muscle gain.
-
Eat protein at every meal. If you're lifting, you need a minimum protein of 0.82g/lb per day. So if you're 200lbs, that a MINIMUM of 164g of protein. For some people, you feel like Jabba the Hutt if you eat that much protein, but if you make it a habit to include a protein with every meal, then it's MUCH easier.

Eat veggies and fruits every day. You need fiber and micronutrients to live a healthy life. Aim for 3 Cups of veggies per day.

Don't drink liquid calories. Almost every obese person I've met drank loads of pop (soda), juice, and other calorie-containing beverages daily. If you want to be lean, switch to water.

Lift weights. You want to build muscle and look jacked? Lift weights. If you're afraid to go to the gym...screw it, just do it.

If you’re anything like I am, putting on weight does not come easy. In fact, despite my small stature, I have to consume over 400 grams of carbohydrates per day just to maintain my weight.

Sounds like a pretty good problem to have doesn’t it? Not for me.

If I fail to hit my calories (specifically carbohydrates) for 1-2 days, I immediately see a decrease on the scale.

Maybe you have to consume even more than I do. Believe me, I know how difficult it can be sometimes to pack that much food into one day.

I don’t struggle with that anymore though…

Not because I suddenly flipped some magic switch that allows me to gain weight faster, but because I started really paying attention to the nutrition facts on everything I ate. And I wasn’t checking for “toxins” in the labels, I was checking for the calorie:serving ratio. Now I can choose to eat a lesser amount of food and benefit from more calories in less sittings. High Carb Foods by @musclemonsters _ If you’re anything like I am, putting on weight does not come easy. In fact, despite my small stature, I have to consume over 400 grams of carbohydrates per day just to maintain my weight. _ Sounds like a pretty good problem to have doesn’t it? Not for me. _ If I fail to hit my calories (specifically carbohydrates) for 1-2 days, I immediately see a decrease on the scale. _ Do you have a similar issue? _ Maybe you have to consume even more than I do. Believe me, I know how difficult it can be sometimes to pack that much food into one day. _ I don’t struggle with that anymore though… _ Not because I suddenly flipped some magic switch that allows me to gain weight faster, but because I started really paying attention to the nutrition facts on everything I ate. And I wasn’t checking for “toxins” in the labels, I was checking for the calorie:serving ratio. Now I can choose to eat a lesser amount of food and benefit from more calories in less sittings. 4 HABITS OF JACKED GUYS

Tracking macros is one thing, but if you want to truly be jacked, you need to incorporate simple habits into your lifestyle.
-
If you have these habits in your life, anything you want to accomplish will be easier, whether it's fat loss or muscle gain.

Eat protein at every meal. If you're lifting, you need a minimum protein of 0.82g/lb per day. So if you're 200lbs, that a MINIMUM of 164g of protein. For some people, you feel like Jabba the Hutt if you eat that much protein, but if you make it a habit to include a protein with every meal, then it's MUCH easier.

Eat veggies and fruits every day. You need fiber and micronutrients to live a healthy life. Aim for 3 Cups of veggies per day.

Don't drink liquid calories. Almost every obese person I've met drank loads of pop (soda), juice, and other calorie-containing beverages daily. If you want to be lean, switch to water.

Lift weights. You want to build muscle and look jacked? Lift weights. If you're afraid to go to the gym...screw it, just do it.

Here's a story for you. When I first started working out, I had no idea what I was doing; but I heard enough people say "never skip leg day" that I knew I should be training my legs. So I trained them every workout.

Fast forward 10 years, and my legs are my best body part. I put in the work, they grew, and now I never train them hard because I already invested in my leg training.

So train your legs frequently using big compound movements (Bulgarian Split Squats are the greatest leg builder of all time), and train in all rep ranges.

If you're lifting, you need a minimum protein of 0.82g/lb per day. So if you're 200lbs, that a MINIMUM of 164g of protein. For some people, you feel like Jabba the Hutt if you eat that much protein, but if you make it a habit to include a protein with every meal, then it's MUCH easier. - Eat veggies and fruits every day. You need fiber and micronutrients to live a healthy life. Aim for 3 Cups of veggies per day. - Don't drink liquid calories. Almost every obese person I've met drank loads of pop (soda), juice, and other calorie-containing beverages daily. If you want to be lean, switch to water. - Lift weights. You want to build muscle and look jacked? Lift weights. Neue Woche, neues Glück und wer die Woche positiv und offen für die schönen Sachen angeht hat sie eigentlich schon gewonnen!
Und so stand bei mir heute nach der Uni ein toller Legday an, gefolgt von ordentlich Nahrung und Raubtierfütterung 🐯 
Ach ja und ins Kino geht es heute natürlich auch!
