I got to meet one of my top inspirations today! Guys... @hattieboydle is an amazing women. If you don't know who she is, you should learn! She was sweet enough to take a break in the middle of her workout to talk to me about fitness journeys and competing and what it all entails. She's very true to herself. 3 days out from The @wbff_official World Titles  I would have been sitting around 54kg (119lbs) 
My intake varied that week and increased the closer I got to the show sitting around 2700 calories 
Vs 
3 weeks post show with very minimal tracking, (when I did I was eating between 2600 and 2900 🍦🤓🤤)
Weight: 56.7kg (125lbs) 
I loved my stage physique and I love my physique now. 
It's taken me 5 years to get competing right. To get the "post show" phase under control with no back lash, no post comp blues. There was a week after the show I felt lethargic and unmotivated, but I still trained. I had the whole week off training post show for some TLC and recovery. 
There has been zero guilt after the show. 
Just dessert and happiness ❤️ #thesportsmodelproject #HattieBoydle #bethebestversionofyou

I Became The Person I Had Always Wanted To Become 💫

I bought my best self to stage this year.

I worked hard on becoming something greater than I had ever been before. 
Every day I focused on changing my mindset, my physique and my package, and I walked away with something no one else could give me but myself.

Day 1 at our Ibizan gym conveniently named @frailegym 😂 after been too sick to train before leaving Oz and spending 2 full days traveling, this shoulder workout was fucking tough! Improvised Standing Single Leg Hamstring curl 🎥

While I have been travelling I've had to make do with the equipment that has been offered in the gyms. 
This one actually worked a treat .
Using the seated hamstring curl face the seat and use it to support your upper body. 
You can lean slightly forward or be more upright.
Place the padding on he back of your ankle and drive your heel up towards your glutes. 
Control on the way down. 
I had to go on my toes to get better range. 
I performed 15 reps as a superset of single leg Romanians .

BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUAT WITH BARBELL 🎥
I have a love hate relationship with this exercise. It's so hard!
Place the barbell on your shoulders. 
Place your back foot on a bench and take a long split between your legs. 
To hit more glute/ hamstring/ adductor make sure your front foot in in front of the body. (To hit more quad place your foot under your hip so that when you bend your knee to the floor your front knee progresses over and in line with your front toe) 
I was training glutes so I opted for a long split with my front foot in front of my body. 
Keep your upper body up right, stay tight in your torso. 
I like my rep ranges to be between 10-20 reps here.

We all have feelings of self doubt from time to time but there must be an underlying value of self belief in there. 
If all you did was see what you didn't or don't have, how far away you are from your goal or if you will ever make it, you will completely ruin the entire process. 
What's the point of trying to be the best version of you if you can't see any of the small wins you have made throughout the process. 
The reflection you see staring back at you is a reflection of how you feel about yourself. 
Put yourself in a beautiful state before you start to make judgments of your progress. 
You know those times you take photos and you absolutely hate everything about it, and then 3 months later when you have thrown the towel in, stopped training and decided to eat crap- 
you go back into those photos and Marvell at how Great you looked? How you wished you were still in that condition...
Yeah we have all done it. 
You didn't see the beauty and the results  because the state you were in at that time was always looking for what you didn't have, not what you had. 
Change your expectation for appreciation and everything changes. 
I say it all the time, don't neglect the small changes. They all count. Every small step leads to a big picture. 
Maybe you need a little more time to be where you want to be. 
That's ok. You have time. 
Believe that you can can achieve. Believe that if you put in the work mentally and physically consistently things will change and you will be the best version of you.
