Sometimes it blows my mind how sick I DON’T look, especially when I’m wearing makeup. How can you feel like complete garbage 24/7 yet physically look normal and healthy? This is where the INVISIBLE part of my illness comes from. What you don’t see is the constant fatigue, pain, exertion intolerance, brain fog, blurred vision, and so on and so fourth. This is the face of someone who has been suffering for almost 4 years. Someone who wants nothing but to feel good and to live a normal life where you don’t have to think about every single step you take and if it’s going to make you flare up for taking one step too many.
I’m never going to give up my fight OR being vocal about CFS/ME, and all of the other types of #invisbleillness that millions of people suffer from. We need funding, research, treatments and cures. I will never stay silent even beyond my recovery. Be a voice and a constant light to this world, no matter what. I’m going to recover and I’m going to get better, no matter how long it takes. - 2 minutes ago
