Creams and gels - the mainstays of any AB routine, right? Before I started Differin I actually rarely used creams because my skin hated them, but now that it's winter (and my skin is basically the Sahara desert) my face loves them. Below are the ones I've tried so far, and my very very quick ratings ⠀
Mizon All-In-One Snail Repair Cream - a lot of people like this! I don't. Too many random ingredients, very thin, doesn't hydrate as well as I'd like. Not a fan. 3/10, WNRP.
PurpleTale Ode to Hydration Cream - Very, very good. Thick, rich, lots of fatty acids and hydrating oils, and niacinamide on top of that! 8/10, MRP (but really, it's very good)
Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream - I enjoy this and find it to be a high quality product but I question the price - $22 for 30mL of cream? Really? I feel like I'm paying mostly for the jar, especially considering the Rich Moist Soothing Cream is 60mL. Wish I could purchase this in a tube. 7/10, MRP
Innisfree The Minimum Moist Cream - THIS IS REAL GOOD. REAAAAAL GOOD. For sensitive skin, this is basically a cheap godsend. If you can't use CeraVe, I would definitely recommend hunting this down. 9/10, WRP
Reddy Cerassol Cica Cream - recently did a full-post review. It's underwhelming. 6/10, WNRP.
VANT 36.5 Advanced Moisture Cream - the lightest HA cream I've ever used. If you hate the feeling of cream, this might be for you. My MIL now owns 3 jars of it - bedroom, living room, and bathroom. 9/10, WNRP (It's too light for me)
Laneige Bright Renew - Laneige makes very good creams; this is no exception. Sample too small to note any brightening, but thick, right, and soothing. 8/10, WNRP (I have similar creams)
Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel - Stopped buying all other types of aloe gels after I tried this. 0.05% allatoin and fragrance-free is nothing to sneeze at. 10/10 WRF ( WRF = will repurchase forever)
If you have any questions, hit me up! this format is way too short to note any real info on each, so i’ve just been jotting down with my immediate gut reactions - 2 hours ago
