HAPPY MONDAY FIT FAM! Today was a long and emotional day for me and I didn’t really want to go to the gym. I lacked a lot of motivation and just wanted to stay home and cuddle with #baebriel (check out that hashtag ) under a warm blanket all day. Instead I got dressed and took my butt to the gym. Here are a couple of things I do when I do but don’t really want to go the gym or when I’m just feeling down.
1. Think about the outcome - I always feel 10x better after a good workout.
2. Look at motivational pictures - 9/10 this will remind you of why you started going to the gym in the first place.
3. Once you decide you’re going to the gym, just get your butt up and go before the desire goes away. You won’t regret it.
Luckily, the gym was pretty chill so I was able to get my deadlift on get on with my day. I also saw some old gym friends, which is always nice So just remember, when you’re lacking motivation, make a list of things you can always look back on to remind you why you SHOULD go. 🏽 - 7 days ago
