If you are a foodie, then we have good news! It's actually good for your body. A study has proved that adventurous eaters (or ‘food neophiles’ - that’s the official name for foodies!) tend to have a lower body mass index than people who don’t attempt to try every dish in the world.
The study was based on a survey of 501 young women that measured things like;
how adventurous their eating habits were, their perceptions of new foods, the characteristics of their lifestyle and psychology, their body mass index.
Foodies also proved to be more likely to cook foods and have people for dinner, as well as involve in physical activities and be mindful about food consumption overall. Yaay! :)
