Effects - the packet states that this 'removes skin impurities and dead cells.' It also has pure vitamin C and botanical extracts that 'deeply absorb into resurfaced skin after exfoliation for brightened and glowing skin.'
Scent - the pad has a slightly chemically scent with a hint of citrus.
Essence - foaming, bubbling essence that's soaked into pad. There was none left in the packet. There is a LOT of foam after step 1.
Directions - Step 1. Create rich bubble with the pad by squeezing it. Proceed to the next step with clean, damp face.
Step 2. Rub the entire face with fiber side around 2 to 3 minutes except the eye and Lip areas.
Step 3. After exfoliation, flip over the band part. Use the soft side of the pad to pat vitamin contents into the skin and rinse off.
My thoughts - my skin was slightly red immediately afterwards which subsided after about 30 minutes. My skin tingled slightly as I was exfoliating too. I decided to skip any moisturisers afterwards so I could properly assess the results and my skin still felt moisturised after 3 hours. It looked clear and my Pores were less noticeable. I haven't used a product like this before but I'm definitely impressed. •
12 hours afterwards - my skin looks smooth, fresh and flawless. My fiancé even commented on how I was glowing. •
Purchase - yes, definitely, but I'll be using it once a week only (it's recommended 1-2 times a week).
Warning - please note this product contains AHA's which can cause skin sensitivity to sunlight. It is advised when using products with AHA's to use sunscreen every day.
