๐ŸŽธ I love training my strings 
Romanian Deadlift 1/1/4 
Once you have nailed your Romanian deadlift this is a variation you could add to your training. 
I prefer Romanians over conventional deadlifts when it comes to doing hypertrophy work on my hamstrings. 
With this variation I keep it to a single set, and low reps so I can focus on tightness and load. 
Your set up is the same as a conventional deadlift. 
Shin to bar. 
Set your shoulders back and down. 
Take a deep breathe in, hold, push the floor away. 
Drive your hips through at the top, slowly lower back down to mid shin, pause, come up for 1/4, pause, lower back down to mid shin before using your hamstrings to pull the bar back up. 
Itโ€™s very important that you do not use your lower back to move the bar. Your hamstrings and glutes must be the primary mover in This exercise .

Happy Saturday Morning ๐Ÿ™Œ I have been sick most of the week and am finally feeling so much better! I don't want to waste this weekend! I'm going to try and pack in as much as I can! I totally thought I couldn't do these ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿป but decided to see how bad I was. I obviously need a lot of practice but  I can do them ๐Ÿ˜† I'm having so much fun lately at the end of my sessions just playing around ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ˜บ๏ธ

What you want to look like Vs what you actually look like. 
We all do that thing where we stand in front of the mirror, suck in really hard in the super cute high waist skirt / jeans looking sweet nโ€™ tight at our waist and hopefully โ€˜peachyโ€™ round at the butt... and then we breath out and become the grinch when heโ€™s like โ€œthatโ€™s it iโ€™m not goingโ€.
Thereโ€™s so much expectation and pressure from social media to look a certain way and live up to the new standard. Yet many of these standards are based on artificial and enhanced reality.
I remember when we were younger it was all about stick skinny legs and tiny waists, then massive fake boobs, then muscles, and now asssssss. 
My previous obsession with having a tiny waist had me down to 44kg and still unsatisfied, my current obsession with growing a booty has me inappreciative (and somewhat resentful) of my smaller lower half, and my recent obsession with petite boobs in all this bra-less fashion has me wanting a breast reduction. Itโ€™s crazy! 
I say all this because like you I feel pressure and desire to look like all these beautiful people. Iโ€™m finally coming to the point where I want to be my beautiful.
Learn to love your body and work with what youโ€™ve got. Sets goals realistic for YOUR situation. Be inspired to improve who you are, not to become someone else.

Heavy deadlifts with a slow eccentric phase ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ This was my 5th set of 3 at 90kg.

The eccentric phase was meant to be 5 seconds ๐Ÿ˜ญ by the time I got to this set it was only 3 ๐Ÿ˜‚

BUT! I have feedback from my body now. Iโ€™ll stick at this weight next week and nail that tempo!
