TOTAL BODY BARBELL WORKOUT

Happy Tuesday amazing people! 
Here’s the Total Body workout video, sorry I’ve been a bit slow putting it up, it’s just that there was soooooo much I wanted to get into this workout for you guys that editing it down has been a nightmare!!! 🤦🏼‍♀️ TWELVE exercises is a lotttttt to squeeeeeze into 60 seconds!!! 😩😩😂😂😂 But, I’ve made it possible!!!!! 😂💪🏼 But the downside is it moves fasssst so keep your eyes peeled!!! Haha!

I’ve done the entire workout with just a barbell as being that it’s January and gyms can be pretty super packed out!! So with this it’s pretty easy, just grab yourselves a barbell and a little corner and get to worrrrrk! 💪🏼💪🏾 Ok, the breakdown of this workout is 3 Sets.. in each set there’s 4 exercises: a cardio element which is timed, and the other three work to repetitions and these consist of an upper body exercise, a big double compound move and then a lower body focus.. SET 1:

1. Barbell press jumping jacks x 30 secs
2. Barbell front & back shoulder press x 20 reps
3. Alternating Lunges with bicep curl x 20 reps
4. In and out good mornings x 20 reps

Repeat 3 times!

SET 2:

1. Barbell floor to ceiling thrusters x 30 seconds
2. Barbell chest press into skull crusher x 20 reps
3. Front & back squats with shoulder press x 20 reps 
4. Barbell hip thrusts x 20 reps

Repeat 3 times!

SET 3:

1. Barbell squat jumps x 30 seconds
2. Clean and press x 10 reps
3. SL Deadlift into back row x 20 reps
4. Kneeling raises x 20 reps

Repeat 3 times!

It was SO good to get back in to a yoga sesh after a very, very long break. A friend and I went to try @vitalbeatyoga out and it was lovely! Vital beat mix funky tunes with lovely flow sequences to make for a groovy sesh. My body was feeling it today for sure, thank goodness I had an @rangeviewmassagetherapy  massage booked 😉

I see lots of people pounding the treadmill for 45 mins + and really not enjoying it.  Treadmill HIIT can be an awesome alternative if you’re looking to prepare for intense sport or burn calories in an effort to lose fat.

Find a speed that has you at 80%+ Of your Max heart rate and do 20 - 30 secs on with between 30- 60 seconds rest.  Repeat x10!! You’ll feel it!
