As the holidays approach I want to share quick substitutions to treats we LOVE to enjoy.
Yesterday I shared using almond milk with our hot cocoa because water just doesn’t taste the same!
Tonight I made my besties sisters homemade recipe for choc chip cookies. Now I can’t share the recipe because it is a family secret and her sister is bound to be the next Betty Crocker! (These cookies are the best sweet I’ve ever tasted in my LIFE)
I did make one change. (Please don’t hate me guys for changing lol) I substituted the white sugar with Palm sugar. Healthier more organic choice. Could taste some difference in texture but makes it a little less guilt free. A little. Moderation is key. It’s fine to treat yourself just don’t over due it!
