If you're like me, you probably like chives with potatoes. But...... have you tried leeks with potatoes? 😍 Here's a simple recipe: • Truffle Smashed Potatoes with Leeks•
Peel + slice potatoes. Boil until soft. Strain. Next, place a sheet of parchment paper on a large round baking sheet. Add a thin layer of olive oil + sprinkle with truffle salt. Then, place the potatoes on the parchment paper + smash with a fork. Drizzle olive oil on top + sprinkle with truffle salt. • bake at 375 for 20 min or until golden brown. Top with sliced leeks.

How lucky am I that Vince made me one of these this morning but with his own style? It was SO GOOD! •
Don’t be afraid to switch around the fruits to your liking. Instead of granola, you could also toast up some oats (this is what he did this morning). •
This is one of MANY delicious recipes in #thehse ! •
Ingredients
1 pack frozen acai 
½ frozen banana (any time a banana is about to go bad, cut it into chunks and freeze it! This way you always have them on had) 
Heaping ½ - ¾ cup fresh fruit 
1/3 cup coconut milk (any nut milk works, too) + more if it’s too thick 
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 
1 tbsp hemp seeds (or any seed you like) 
For topping: 
¼ cup granola 
Handful berries 
cacao nibs
coconut chips
½ banana, sliced

Instructions
Put all the main ingredients in a blender until smooth. If too thick, just keep adding a little coconut milk until it reaches the desired consistency. 
Add your toppings.

You guys. Do yourself a favor and get this BBQ meat from @therealfoodrds into your meal plan ASAP. Wowza - super easy to throw together in a crockpot and let cook away. It was SO juicy, packed with amazing flavor and served with a baked sweet potato and roasted veggies. It hit the spot!!!!!

•1 teaspoon raw organic honey
•1/2 teaspoon turmeric

 I have been an off and on again vegan for 10 years, but now I'm on for life! -

The lifestyle interested me when I read the book "skinny bitch". My motive was obvious...to become skinny! -

I struggled with extreme dieting and eating disorders and because of my mindset at the time, I was unable to stick to it. -

I revisited the diet a few years later when I read the PH Miracle. I was motived to live the healthiest life possible, free of disease. -

Many unconscious moments later, usually after I had been drinking, I would slip up.

To be honest it wasn't super important to me to follow mainly, because I was still conflicted with the "protein myth" assumption. I thought that I needed to get protein from animals to be healthy and fit.

After watching loads of documentaries about the horrific tortues that animals endure and the effects on the environment, I decided enough is enough! I forced myself to watch every thing when I wanted to turn away. I forced myself to keep watching more, when I thought 1 film is enough. I knew if I created enough pain around this subject, I wouldn't go back.

Going vegan for myself was motivating for a short time, but the pain I felt that was being inflicted on others for my pleasure will last a lifetime!

I’ve always wanted to take a trip around the world 🌎 in 80 days, but that would require a certain cash flow. The last vacay I went on dates back 10 yrs for a bachelorette party in Cabo, so you can just imagine the debauchery that took place — not very much eating at all. I love artichokes and I found some at Whole Foods today.  There is such thing as a bad artichoke.  They should feel firm, have tight leaves and should feel heavy.  Did you know if they squeak when you squeeze them, they’re perfect?

I've officially hit my second trimester. ✌🏼
Less pain and discomfort than what I've had the past few weeks. So far l haven't had any morning sickness, which I am so grateful for!
Had a lot more energy for my workout this evening and l even upped my weights! It's the small things I'm am smiling about today!!
