As I was writing in my journals to my two babies last night I thought a lot as I actually started scrolling through my own feed to remember moments and funny things that happened to us. I began using Instagram frequently a little over three years ago. I went from having a full time job in marketing to staying home with my baby full time. At first this place was just a place to share images, but now it’s a place to connect, to document and a way to express my creativity. Eventually it evolved to something I could even provide for my family with. I think that can often be a weird thing for some people and occasionally for me. — My house isn’t always clean, I’m not always fully dressed and I’m not always in the best of moods. But I do get to share some of the highlights on here and use it as a way to journal and occasionally do sponsored post about products we love and use (from small companies and large) Plus I’ve met women all across the world who I’ve developed close relationships with and love so much. And you know what? I absolutely love doing it. We balance our lives where social media doesn’t take over, but we can still have fun with it. If you’ve been following along for a while or just started I hope you feel that there is transparency, honesty and even the occasional inspiration from these tiny squares I share. I’d love to hear more about you and what you love this space for!
