After class on Friday we realized if we didn’t go out early on in the semester— we never would! 😱 The Law School workload tends to escalate quickly so I’m BEYOND happy that my babes and I got to take a teeny break from the grind and dance the night away at @vandalnewyork and @avenueny 👯‍♀️👯‍♀️👯‍♀️👯‍♀️
There’s just something about a great DJ that makes me (!!!!!!!!) inside 🍾🕺🏽🎉
What’s your favorite kind of music to dance to?

Leonardo Da Vinci 🎨 had a “To Learn” list instead of a “to do” list👉🏽
He would write lists of items he needed folks more knowledgeable than him to teach him on THAT DAY.
not tomorrow
not next month
not next year
Learning was THIS big of a priority to him.
Maybe that’s because he never had the opportunity to go to college, or even the 1400s equivalent of high school...
He also painted the Mona Lisa 🎨 the most famous painting of all time 😱😍

Happy Hump Day 🐫
So I’m trying this new thing where I actually wake up early and train hard before classes begin. So far so good! Slept at 10 p.m. woke up at 4 a.m. and couldn’t go back to sleep so did some studying. Hit the gym at 7 a.m. and just had the B E S T upper body day evah SO energized and ready for class!🖤
What about you guys, how do you like to start your day?

posting this is outside my comfort zone but can’t go without sharing this move 😍🙏🏽👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽

Sumo-Stance Kettlebell Romanian Deadlifts
are great for making more of that 🍑 shape!
HOW TO:
1️⃣ Place your feet wider than shoulder width toes turned out 
2️⃣ bend, hinge at your hips with a bend in the knee. I like to think 💭 “if a magnet was pulling me back by the middle” as a mental queue 
3️⃣ Press back up using your glutes wait for your glute to “catch” the weight of the kettle bell and only use the bum to press your hips forward. If you have to use your legs, drop the weight
☝🏽 you’ll see me doing these w/ a KB rather than a Dumbbell I find its much easier to have the form right using a KB ☝🏽
☝🏽you’ll also see my using a band around my knees. I’ve added this for an additional challenge but the move is just as useful without it

gyms, fitness classes, however it is that YOU like to fitness...finding the right place is a lot like a friendship/ relationship: It must “feel right” for you to invest your time 💖💖💖
2️⃣ so what if the place you just started at this month doesn’t feel that way to you? That’s okay! Introduce yourself to the staff and trainers. Say hello to one new gal or guy each day. By the end of the month you will be surprised by the friends you’re starting to make
3️⃣ don’t be afraid to try new spots too! Even a different location of the same chain of box gyms will have a different feel depending on the neighborhood and the kinds of people who train there. Experiment🔬with your training environment and see what makes you feel the best!
4️⃣ WHY does all this even matter? Can’t you just get in and out w/ your workout??? Sure ya can. BUT. Those IRL folks who know you, know your goals are the ones who will ask you “hey you haven’t been here for a few days is everything okay” and text you to train WITH them and BE that network that wants to see you succeed 🤩🤗💖

reasons to train the boobies:
1: balance. having upper body muscle actually helps create a true hour class shape
2: preventing injury. not “sexy” reason but in our real lives we need to be able to lift things, push things and pull things — why not make sure we can do so????
3: a “inner push up bra effect” - rly don’t know a better way to describe 👀😭 however if you’re a natural gal like myself training chest is very effective in adding some oomph to the boobies, Naturally (heyyyooooo!!! 🤸🏽‍♀️💕)
This move right here is called an ☝🏽☝🏽☝🏽
“Incline Dumbbell Press” 
just grab a Dumbbell, hold it with your two palms around the middle and press up to the sky, and.......
let the boobie gains begin 😜💪🏽🏋🏽‍♀️❤️😘
