SO STOKED 💥Clip from my morning lift ☀️did 4x8x85lbs successfully with no 🚫back pain 🙌🏼😬 so excited. I know it’s not BIG weight but I use to have lower back/ sciatic pain using 30 lbs🤭 so my 🐢moves and working on form👌🏼has helped a ton. I wanted to wait to upload this to inform you all on my pain level throughout the day 🙃

#tbt to the trend of small, tiny, spread out eyebrows 🙈When an eyebrow wax every 3 weeks was a MUST🤨
Thankfully that trend died 🚫because it did nothing for me. Working on growing mine out for about 2 years now. I even got mine microbladed (which didn’t work)😩

August to December 2017 – 2 inches lost ⬇️in glutes😫

My main goal was to lose fat 👌🏼but able to maintain some of my glute progress 🍑since I came across @bretcontreras1 and the application of hip thrusting in April 2017.
•
So 8 months of hip thrusting starting with my first “real” bulk to the end of my cut🤙🏼
•
Implementing many forms, rep ranges, bands, TUT(time under tension), feet direction, isometric holds, concentric, and eccentric variations and the list can go on.

Do You Deadlift?☠️😅

I stayed away from these due to chronic lumbar pain, BUT 💁🏼‍♀️have spent the last few weeks working on my form 👍🏼 so I started out slow and low weight

I also watched Dave Tates @underthebar So You Think You Can Deadlift? - Series [which helped a ton] to get a grasp on the actual movement and lift🤙🏼

Today for my workout was ONLY deadlifts & a dynamic stretch prior and these were my lifts:

2x12x50lb

[working sets]
1x10x70lb
2x8x80lb
1x6x90lb
•
Goal for 2018 is to get stronger on this lift without 🙅🏼‍♀️pain🚫We will see how my back reacts to heavier 💪🏼weight. See my IG story👀 for one of my sets. Critiques welcome 🙃

I am now up ⬆️400 calories a day from when I ended my cut ✂️& I am sitting at 119 lbs which is 1 pound lighter than when I ended my cut. Christmas Eve and Day I ate whatever I wanted and still weighing in lower⬇️ [body is responding well to this reverse🤨🤓]Which means more room for more free meals this week👏🏼🥞🥩🍤🍨🍰

My go 👉🏼to late night snack has been homemade ice cream

☃️1 scoop @Pescience  protein powder
☃️½ cup Silk almond milk
☃️8-10 ice cubes
☃️½ tsp xanthum gum (not necessary but will make it thick like ice cream)
❄️125 calories: F=3g|C=3g|P=24g

Blend for 1-2 minutes in Magic-bullet, Blender, etc. The one I use is from Walmart was $20 and it’s a single serve blender 👌🏼

Top with what you are craving! 😋

Glute-focused workout inspired by @bretcontreras1 & @hollyemilyjackson

Go give these 2 a follow if you want booty 🍑 growth 🌿

1️⃣ Barbell Hip Thrusts with @mbslingshot band- I went heavier than normal and didn’t feel that 🔥initially-but I do now (next day I’m feeling it😬😭)
2️⃣Dumbbell Banded Bulgarian Split Squats- I noticed using a band helps contract and engage my glutes instead of my quads
3️⃣Barbell Back Squats- one going below parallel & then second sets using chair to help push my butt back and engage the glutes

Now sitting here the next day after this workout my glutes are sooooo sore❗️ 👌🏼 Give it a try 🙃

I had 2 major surgeries💉 last December

1 being an Umbilical Hernia Surgery
•
My hernia was caused from my pregnancy🤰🏼with my little guy. It isn’t an immediate ❗️concern but they can become painful😫 and I would notice that it was rubbing and more prominent👹. I was not able to work out for 3 weeks😪

Fast forward ⏭to one year later and I officially have no belly button 😂 (oh well) 🤷🏼‍♀️all is worth it in the end🙌🏼My ab/core was very weak 🚶🏼‍♀️for a long time. But I have been able to build 💪🏼it back up with:
🔅Squats
🔅Deadlifts
🔅Overhead Presses
🔅Planks
Notice that I don’t list your typical ab exercises? 🤔I work my abs maybe once a week, if that 😳
