Did you ever think about being the light on a foggy day? We usually think about being the light in the dark, but how about being a fog light? Foglamps are very important during poor visibility resulting from precipitations like rain, fog, dust or snow. On a grey day like today, I am reminded that things are not always black and white, our friends and family, our citys and neighbourhoods aren’t always completely in the dark, but we all have those foggy days where we don’t see clearly because disappointement, lack of energy, confusion, hurt or resentment creep in. Foglamps have a unique beam! Do you know what light to turn on for your friend?
““You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.”
