“Although I’ve always been active and in relatively good shape growing up as a competitive gymnast and cheerleader, my body has gone through it’s ups and downs just like everyone else. Mine may not be as drastic as some but it has definitely taught me the difference between skinny and STRONG! I’ve been blessed genetically with a high metabolism, allowing me to go through my younger years and college eating the crappiest food you could possibly put into your body with little to no consequences to the human eye. It wasn’t until about 4 years ago that I realized the food I was putting into my body was the fuel that would make it run better and longer! Cutting out the binge drinking and late night fast food may not have made a crazy transformation to MY body on the outside but I promise you the difference it made on the inside was all worth it. I always remind my clients that everyones journey is different and to never measure your progress by someone else’s. We all have a variety of body types, shapes and sizes, your genetics will determine how your body responds to certain lifestyles. Mirroring someone else’s diet and activity won’t necessarily produce the same results for you! Your story is unique and not worthy of comparison!”
