If you’re wondering how to lose fat from that one stubborn part of your body - READ & SAVE this post! . 📍HOW TO LOSE STUBBORN FAT📍

I'm always getting asked about how to burn fat from specific areas... "How do I lose belly fat?" "How do I get rid of fat from my lower back?" "How do I lose this elbow fat?" That last one's not a joke. I've legitimately been asked that question before.

Well, the answer is simple, and people either love or hate hearing it.

The TRUTH about losing stubborn fat is that it's the exact same as losing fat from any area. It all comes down to:

1. creating a calorie deficit

2. exercising (preferably strength training)

3. eating plenty of whole foods

4. being patient... very, very patient

They're all important, but number four is especially.

Reason being, the way YOUR body stores and loses fat is unique to you. We all have different genetics and therefore different "problem" areas. For me, it's my lower back & stomach. For others, it's their thighs, butt, arms, etc. Stubborn fat is usually the last to go, which means it's really just a waiting game.

Focus on creating a plan that you can stick to in the long run. As you slowly build muscle and lose fat, you'll notice small improvements over time.

One thing to note 📝: getting rid of every single ounce of fat isn't realistic for most people. Women, specifically, have an extremely difficult time reaching very low body fat % levels.

My advice for peeps who wanna get rid of every last ounce of fat —> Why do you want to be so "shredded" in the first place?

If you're just trying to be leaner, healthier, and happier, then getting "shredded" just isn't necessary. In fact, most people will find it just makes life more stressful and less enjoyable.

🍋 Motivation is an awesome thing and people often ask me how I stay so motivated. The truth of the matter is, I don't.  I have developed something far greater than motivation, it's called discipline. Motivation quickly runs out in everyone but discipline is what keeps you going back, even when you don't want to

✊️Just going in & going through the motions won’t get it done. Train with purpose. Every rep counts.
- 💪Go in with a purpose. Get rid of distractions. Put your headset on and tune out the world.
- 🤸‍♂️ Don't be one of those people that seems to get bored too quickly and jumps programs like playing musical chairs.  This does not benefit you nor your gainz. Find a good program and stick to it for three months minimum.  Learn to love it and make it a lifelong habit.

 1️⃣: Calories in. Are you eating enough? Enough protein? Enough fats or carbs? Or too much? And what is the QUALITY of these macronutrients you are taking in? Do they contain MICRONUTRIENTS? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀

2️⃣: Hydration. You gotta DRINK! I think the guideline of 2 liters per day is a load of 💩. Just like calories, all individuals require a different amount of H2O! Try to sip on water throughout the day, rather than just downing pints at a time (I need to get more into that habit) - it's better for you: otherwise, your body tries to flush the amount downed ASAP and your cells don't get what they really need. Carrying a water bottle around is 🔑. ⠀

3️⃣: STRESS! And not just mental stress- physical, too. You gotta take rest days, and breaks from dieting. And work. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
4️⃣: Overall activity levels. Related to the above, things like walking around more than normal may make you feel more tired and even affect your workouts! ‼️FACTOR THIS IN‼️ Suddenly stopped working in a job where you walk 30 minutes to and from the station, and a 1-hour walk at lunch? That's 2 hours less of walking per day, aka a significant amount FEWER calories burned per day! (N.E.A.T) So don't be surprised if you gain body fat! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
