What’s the biggest inhibitor in my life?
Stress! I naturally have some anxiety so when things start piling up I tend to get super stress out! It might not seem like a big deal, but stress can really hold you back if you don’t learn how to deal with it. I wanted to touch on this today because I know that lots of people suffer from this same problem. •
The key to handling stress, at least for me, is learning how to prioritize and understanding that you are human and there are only 24 hours in the day!
Here is my suggestion... everyday make a list of the things you want to get done. Then order that list based on what has to be done and what is most important. For some people, check lists make things worse so if you are one of those people then I also suggest adding a few small tasks like take the dog out, go to the gym, or go to the store. These small things are manageable and being able to cross more off of your list will help you feel productive and less stressed out. •
I use this everyday because, like most of you, I have a ton going on in my life whether it be things I have to get done, things I want to do, or hobbies that I’d like to make time for. There is no cure all for stress and I’m not saying that this will make all of your anxiety go away but I promise it will help make it more manageable. •
