What will you accomplish today?
Today is special. It is an opportunity to grow, to become more, and to triumph. The big question is… how will today end for you?
•
Will it end in victory or defeat? Will you be happy about what you did or disappointed that you didn’t do more? Don’t wait for tomorrow because tomorrow will present you with another challenge. Choose to be triumphant today no matter what the challenge is.
•
There will never be another today. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!

Not happy with how you look? What do you do? Who can fix it?
•
The only person that can fix this is yourself. Getting the body you want isn’t just some phase that you go through or a few months when you bust your butt to get there. It’s a lifestyle.
•
I know from experience that it takes a full time commitment and the moment that you decide that’s too much is the moment you start to lose it. I’ve worked very hard for a long time to get the physique that I have but I am no where near finished. Yes I’m happy with the way I have been able to sculpt my body into something impressive, but I’m not satisfied.
•
I’m no where near perfect and I have a long way to go before I reach my true goals and potential. I do know one thing; as long as I’m able to inspire, motivate, and teach others how to be successful then I am living the right way!
•
•
Don’t ever become satisfied and never give up because this is a life journey and a life long commitment. You will be successful and you will reach your goals if you keep fighting for them!

Don’t be afraid to show what you are made of! Step out of the shadow today and cast your own.
•
Can hardly walk after yesterday’s intense high rep leg day. It’s a good thing today is arm day.

Love it or hate it, it’s a leg day. I’ll be walking like a zombie by the end of it if I’m still able to walk at all!
•
Throwback to a few months ago before both of my injuries. Hoping I can still pump out heavy reps like this today.
•
I know a lot of people hate leg day but there is something so fulfilling about it to me. It’s not the workout that’s fulfilling but instead it’s how good it feels to have big strong legs. I get a lot of grief about wearing tight pants sometimes but hey, leg day is the absolute hardest day of the week. How are you just going to hide all of those hard earned gainz! (@rannecourtney I love when you pick at me)
•
I’ll be at golds on S. Pleasantburg at 6:45 in the morning if anyone wants to join me for a brutal leg day. Hope to see you guys there!

Discipline is doing what needs to be done, even if you don’t want to do it.
•
This pretty much says it all. Life is complex but one thing that’s certain is that there are things in life we must do. Sometimes they arnt fun and we don’t want to “adult” but we must! I’ll admit there are times that I really don’t want to workout, but I know what my goals are and if I want them to become reality then I have to make myself go to the gym. Discipline will always pay off in time!

Do traditional skull crushers hurt your wrists or elbows?
If you answered yes then this is for you.
•
First off I want to start by telling you that all exercises are not for everyone so it is completely normal if you can’t do certain ones. (To an extent)
•
This is one alternative to the traditional skull crusher that I personally use.
Seated incline dumbbell extensions.
The setup is pretty easy. Get a bench and adjust the back to about a 45 degree angle. Then you want to stand over the seat and lean up against the back but don’t sit down. By standing up you allow yourself to have a larger range of motion which will increase the amount of growth you can achieve with this movement. Hold both dumbbells straight above you and lock your arms in that position. Then, only bending the elbows, lower the weights as low as possible in a controlled motion and explode back up to the top.
•
If you give this a try and you enjoyed it please let me know or if you didn’t like it I would like to hear from you as well and maybe we can come up with another alternative!

Work hard, train harder! Today is going to me a new level of intensity for me. I want to move further with my physique and strive to become one of the best! In order for that to happen I have to train as hard as the best physiques train.
•
I’ll be at gold gym today at 7am if anyone wants to train harder than they ever have before.
•
In the words of @therock : blood, sweat, and respect. The first two you give, the third you earn!
•
Time to see just how far the human body can go and my bet is it’s further than you ever could of imagined 💪🏼🏋🏻💯

Wide grip lat pull downs for huge lats! Pay particular attention to the form. When you set up this way you enable your lats to do most of the pulling and because of that, we can really overload them and force growth through progressive overload.
•
Also notice at the top of the movement I control the weight until the top of the motion then I allow an extra extension by fully relaxing. This gives you an excellent prestretch on the muscle which will provide a higher growth potential.
•
This exercise is old school but is still one of the absolute best ways to train not only your lats but your entire back depending on how you set up!

YOU NEED TO READ THIS...
Today I received some bad news and not only did it catch me by surprise but I admit, it pretty much knocked me on my ass.
•
I won’t go into the exact details, but the short story is that I received a letter from the government saying I owe them a very large amount of money. I’m sure you all have had financial set backs in your lives and this post is by no means me trying to get people to feel sorry for me...
•
Instead, I want to use this situation as a way to help motivate and inspire others. How can something like this motivate me you ask? Well here’s the thing... when we are faced with an unexpected circumstance that takes us out of our comfort zone we begin to allow fear and doubt to set in. The fact is, we do not subconsciously think that we can conquer whatever the circumstance is.
•
Stay with me...
What makes being a human so great? A tree will never be anything more than a tree, and a dog will always be a dog, but a human can do or be anything they want. All it takes is the courage to try. The only thing holding you back is the fear you created. If you created it then you can eliminate the fear.
•
STOP waiting for the ideal moment because that moment will never come! The circumstances will never line up perfectly so stop waiting for an ideal moment and just try!
•
I will conquer this set back because I refuse to let it scare me. This is just another chance for me to prove just how much I am capable of!
•
If anyone out there is struggling with the fear of failure or you think you have reached your limits, please remember what I have said today.
•
If this has helped you today, please feel free to share this with your friends, family, or whoever might need to hear this. Also, id love to hear what obstacles you have overcome in the comments below!

Working on my back has become one of my favorite things to do. I particularly love doing chest supported rows because it doesn’t limit my range of motion and allows me to squeeze at the top of the movement.
•
If you want to develop your back and add thickness to the muscles then this exercise is for you. It’s very easy to overload the muscles on this movement with heavy weight.
•
When you get to the point where you can’t do another rep with good form then it’s ok to do partial reps and even use more of your biceps to help you get the last couple of reps.
•
Some exercises arnt for everyone but I believe that this one is one of the best movements for your back and it really takes you back to the basics.
•
What is your favorite back exercise? Let me know in the comments and I’ll give it a try!

Super excited today... my new camera came in and I can’t wait to use it for my next YouTube video.
•
New video is up now and it was all shot on my iPhone 7+
I had to send the other camera back because it didn’t have a few features that I needed but next weeks video will be shot on my Canon 70D. I can’t wait to see the difference.
•
This weeks workout is a chest and back routine that will push you past any plateaus that you have reached with your chest and back. If you want to get the v shaped back and big chest that you see on the front cover of all of the big name fitness magazines then you need to give this workout a try!
•
I posted the entire workout routine in the description and links to all of my social media’s.
•
Here is the link to the video and it’s also in my bio:
https://youtu.be/syuKXyL-gus
•
I hope everyone enjoys the video but most importantly, I hope it helps you move past your plateaus and into your goals!
•
If you enjoy the video please hit the like and subscribe buttons on my channel for weekly uploads.
Also, let me know what you would like to see in the weeks ahead!!!

What’s the biggest inhibitor in my life?
•
Stress! I naturally have some anxiety so when things start piling up I tend to get super stress out! It might not seem like a big deal, but stress can really hold you back if you don’t learn how to deal with it. I wanted to touch on this today because I know that lots of people suffer from this same problem. •
The key to handling stress, at least for me, is learning how to prioritize and understanding that you are human and there are only 24 hours in the day!
•
Here is my suggestion... everyday make a list of the things you want to get done. Then order that list based on what has to be done and what is most important. For some people, check lists make things worse so if you are one of those people then I also suggest adding a few small tasks like take the dog out, go to the gym, or go to the store. These small things are manageable and being able to cross more off of your list will help you feel productive and less stressed out. •
I use this everyday because, like most of you, I have a ton going on in my life whether it be things I have to get done, things I want to do, or hobbies that I’d like to make time for. There is no cure all for stress and I’m not saying that this will make all of your anxiety go away but I promise it will help make it more manageable. •
On a side note, if your day isn’t already challenging enough, send me a dm and I’ll send you my leg workout! This one is no joke and will be extremely challenging even for the more experienced! So, are you up to the challenge???

Stay focused...
The hardest part about reaching a long term goal is staying focused. Whether it’s building a business, acquiring some material object, or even crafting the perfect physique; maintaining a straight line gaze towards your goals is hard to do.
Here is a tip that I use to stay focused on what I want to achieve...
•
Track or record all progress no matter how big or small. •
It’s easy to think you are getting no where because of the length of time it takes to get there. For example, if you are trying to transform your body and you don’t take pictures regularly then it will be hard for you to notice the small changes. By human nature if you do not clearly see results you will be tempted to give it up and stray from your path. •
Finding ways to keep you motivated to your cause will guarantee that you are able to stay focused!
•
I use this in my own life and it has helped me be more successful in reaching the goals I have set than ever before! I promise if you use this technique in your life you will benefit enormously! •
So what are you waiting for? Start today and see just what this simple trick can do in your life 💯😁

Fitness is a lifestyle. It’s a daily commitment to being the best that you can be, but most importantly it’s a journey that we take alongside others. •
•
We are all at different points on this journey but we are not alone! We are a fitness community and we are not only here to improve ourselves but also to help others! It is our duty to share knowledge, experiences, and teach others with what we have so that they can move forward in their journey. •
•
Never forget that everyone could use a little help sometimes and remember the days when you may have struggled but someone’s wisdom or advice helped you. The most important part of the fitness lifestyle is giving back and helping others.

Let’s do this together!

Today is the day you can make that change... today is the day that you can decide to be your best you. Before you try to give me a reason not to, remember one thing...
Today can just be one day or it can be day one! The choice is yours 💪🏼
The cable reverse curl is one of the best ways to get you started on some serious arm gainz! Be sure to rotate your shoulders back and go through a full range of motion. It helps to flex your triceps at the bottom to make sure that the biceps get a good prestretch before every rep. •

Let me know what you guys think of this one below 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
