Note to self: DO NOT RUSHHH
So many notes to learn in so little time! I can feel my orchestra directors patience starting to dwindle. Yesterday was our first run through of the 4th movement of the berthoven 9. Needless to say, it was pretty rough. Honestly, its everyone including myself to balance orchestra and chamber with all of the other rep that I'm working on. We're all just passing through this mid-semester slump.
Personally, I have been having a rough practice week too. For me, i definitely have the time to practice. I just lack the motivation. As abnoxious as it is, I should really keep a checklist of all of the things that i want to covet during my practice sessions. I've always hated doing this because its work. but i especially think that it's totally worth the personal investment, especially knowing that all of y'all are there to keep me accountable.
Btw, i found my metal practice mute! I always seem to lose it and later find it the next day in the dumbest places. #welcometomylife
Question: Do you or did you own a practice journal to keep track of your goals? How often did you keep up with it?
