My precious Ava Joy, before you were my child, you were God’s. God created you, and He gave you to Mummy and Papa. There is nothing you could ever do that would make us love you any less. That is the same with God. You will do great things in your life, and you will shine like a light. You already do.
On the day of your baptism, I wish you God’s grace, mercy, and wisdom. I pray that you grow with faith and that your faith will guide you in life. But sometimes, religion can be confusing, so I pray that you have an innate moral compass to always know what is right and wrong. Religion comes with many guidelines and rules, and if you ever become confused, just remember these two:
1) Love the Lord your God with all your heart,
2) Love one another as God has loved you.
Follow those 2 rules in life, and you will be good. Above all, treat people with respect and always be kind, because our God is a magnanimous and forgiving God. I pray that you will find your own relationship with God, in whichever way you deem fit.
We gave you the Christian name ‘Joy’ because we want you to always be happy. And also because we want you to spread happiness wherever you go. You are already doing a very good job in both aspects! May your light shine bright! - 2 months ago
