I stood at the top of the cliff for a moment, choosing my path down the rocks, it was raining so i was trying to find rocks that looked like they had a promising purchase. There was ledges all the way down and the short 7ft falls looked far more appealing than the thought of ending up in the drink fully clothed and with a back pack containing my camera gear.
The first part of the descent was easy, then i came to a ledge that was steeper than i had realised and the ledge beneathe it was not hugely ideal but i wasnt about go back up. I sat on the edge and the water from the soaked into my pants...fantastic...i edged foward and slid alot quicker than i had planned landing flat on the ledge below but the weight from my back over balanced me. Making ridiculous windmill motions with my arms i regained my balance. I didnt much feel like drowning this morning. I was by myself and unless you were an avid fan of my insta story no one knew i was here.
I made it to the bottom, walked along the wave soaked rocks and found a place for my bag and rod, and started snapping. There were some great waves this morning... - 5 minutes ago
