ABS ON !!! You guys HIGHLY requested ab workouts, so here you go!🤗 This workout left me sore for DAYS, and it can be done almost anywhere. But first, let’s talk about abs fr... It seems that all anyone ever wants is abs, and when I first started my fitness journey, that was my main focus. All I wanted was abs, and I did ab workouts and endless crunches to try and get them...LOL @ my old self. Truth is, no amount of crunches will get you abs. The phrase “abs are made in the kitchen” is so true! Proper nutrition is KEY!!! However, while they are made in the kitchen, they’re TONED and STRENGTHENED in the gym (or in this case, at home)!🏼 Personally, I only train abs once a week, if that, because really, your core should be engaged and worked through ALL workouts.
KILLER ABS: 4 rounds
1. 50 weighted russian twists: hold a dumbbell at a weight that’s challenging but that you can still do correct form with (1 rep= 2 twists)
2. 25 v-up exercise ball passes: this can also be done with a pillow (1 rep= a pass to the feet & a pass to the hands)
3. 100 oblique crunches (each side)
4. 30 up-down planks
5. 15 rockies (ft. my fur baby): the goal of this is to slowly lower your legs, but keep your butt off the ground for as long as possible. In this video I held on to my mom’s ankles, but usually I hold on to a couch leg. Whatever it is, just make sure it’s heavy!
