“I am obsessed with becoming a woman comfortable in her own skin.” Unknown, but I want to give her a great big hug, whoever she is. I am working really hard on becoming comfortable in my own skin and becoming comfortable in the knowledge that it is a process. It is not something that will happen over night for me. I am used to being a “go-getter” and someone who expects instant results, but self-love is a process, a battle even, where doubt and judgement try to get me at every turn.
So I’m working hard to change my mentality about working out. It is not a form of punishment or something I HAVE to do. It is something, that fuels me in the best possible way. Movement makes me a better version of me. And while I may not love myself yet, I like myself and that’s a start in this journey.
