Tagged for 5 unexpected non-scale victories by my lovely friend @melswlsjourney I’ve been mulling this over for a couple of days...
1️⃣. Muscle definition. I never set out to be a beef cake, and am not interested in bulking up much, but the fact I can see the hard work in my body shapes is bloody awesome.
2️⃣. Routine. I never expected to become so routine based. It’s improved my focus, efficiency, and gives me discipline.
3️⃣. I LOVE the gym. My day feels off if I don’t start it with a workout. So I don’t skip them unless absolutely necessary.
4️⃣. Running. I’ve fallen in complete love with pounding the pavement. This was never the intention. I just wanted to tick a 5km off my goal list, and use it as part of training for a triathlon.
5️⃣. Smaller clothes aren’t just cheaper to buy, you get more choice, less stress to try on, more fit in each washer load, and more fit on the clothes line! - 3 hours ago
