Back can sometimes be a hard body part for those just getting into lifting to train. Unlike other body parts where you can see the muscle doing the work, you cannot see your back when doing an exercise so everything must be by feel.

Too often you will see people jerking weight around and bouncing the weight from the bottom of a rep. Not only will this get you little back involvement, but your joints will thank you later.🙁

Before every back workout I like to start with a lighter activation exercise if you want to call it that, with a goal of warming up my whole back and finding that "mind to muscle connection."💆‍♂️ Once everything is firing then go ahead and start your heavier exercises still holding onto that connection.🔥

Most people don’t focus enough on their back training. The back is seen both from the back and front poses. The v-taper is what creates the shape that differentiates a bodybuilder from athletes in other muscle focused sports. The back can handle a lot of work because it is compromised of so many muscles. So if you’re doing the same number of sets for your chest as you do for the entire back complex. You’re probably missing out on further possible development on essentially a 1/3 of your entire body. ☀ Hello les sportifs et sportives ☀ ❇ Aujourd'hui j'ai travaillé le dos et les épaules. Et ouais encore!😜 Je profite de mes vacances pour faire les séances le matin/midi. Il y a beaucoup moins de monde que le soir donc les machines sont dispos. Quel bonheur!😍 ❇ Et non je ne passe pas ma vie à la salle. Ce n'est qu'une illusion!😜

HOW TO DESTROY YOUR LATS WITH MINIMAL WEIGHT————————————————————————————️ I know a lot of people have a hard time feeling their lats more so than their chest/arms/delts...the mirror muscles. I’m actively thinking about getting my scapula back and DOWN. ————————————————————————— ️Your hands are hooks. The tighter you grip the more forearm involvement. Not what we want. ————————————————————————— ️Slight lean forward at the waist enabling a greater stretch as we release the weight back to the start (eccentric). Your spine is locked in place.
