Success, in our society, is a funny thing. It has been formulated and agreed upon as something that is difficult to achieve and deserved only by those few who are highly educated and affluent.
It’s an odd point of view coming from a world who’s many successful inventors, innovators and thought leaders, did not pursue higher education and instead, simply honed in on their zones of genius, creating a successful life by focusing on their own natural talents, abilities and personal points of interest.
Success comes from doing what comes easy for you to do.
I would go even further to say that we are, all of us, already a huge success and need only to be encouraged and supported, as children, to follow our natural instincts and inclinations, in order to continue being a success.
If, when we were children, we were given the space to cultivate the things we do best, instead of being forced to get good at the things that don’t come naturally or the things we aren’t interested in, then we would be quite accustomed to seeing ourselves as successful.
It’s much easier to see ourselves as successful, when we are already succeeding.
Of course, time, effort and focus are what follow, but they are the support system and ally toward the ultimate fruition of our undertaking; not that which make us successful.
As adults now, we are attempting to remember and pinpoint those natural talents and abilities as the ultimate beacon for our own success.
We are realizing now, that success begins in the deep love and appreciation we have for our own zones of genius.
Success is first and only ever a mindset.
Without this mindset, you will forever be tricked into thinking that success is something you must get, instead of knowing that it is something you already are.
