Turning to Nariño, there's a pretty stellar comparison between Caturra, a full arabica cultivar and Castillo, a hybrid with well over a dozen different iterations (bred over the last few decades). They are both vibrant and they are clear expressions of where they came from and what they are. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Disco Marmalade is nearing its end, but we're thinking about saving a smidge and freezing it. Dropping roasts last night of this one, it's still so aromatic - flowers and jam dance through the room as we sort and pack each roast night, and last night was no exception. It defies the rules of "fresh crop" vs "past crop". ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
