ON PHOTOGRAPHING MY KIDS... I almost always anticipate what’s going to happen in a scene and I just sit and wait with my camera. DAY 18 - GOOD HEALTH Remember when we were in Paris and #Chiddybear fell ill and ended up in hospital? Well since we got back we’ve had to go for follow up at Great Ormond Street Hospital every couple of months. I’m just so thankful that we don’t have anything to worry about anymore. Also thankful we don’t have to do that tedious trip so often anymore. No appointments for another year. All is well and I couldn’t be more grateful. 🏾🏾 #31DaysOfThanks - 4 months ago

How am I applying to schools already when it feels like just yesterday I was vomiting my guts out from #hyperemesis , looking at his big head on the scan with @ckokere and being wheeled hurriedly to theatre for an emergency c-section after 18 long hours of labour? A REVIEW [swipe to see all] I seized the opportunity to test a @saaldigital_UK photobook because I absolutely love seeing my work in print and I'm so glad I did! Very pleased with the quality of this book. _ There are a variety of sizes, papers, covers and more to choose from. Mine is a 21 x 28 portrait photobook with gloss cover and matte (lustre) pages. The entire process to create it was pretty straightforward, the app is very user friendly and delivery was fast! _ I’m happy to have a lovely physical collection of my work to show EVERYONE! One of our favourite activities of the week is going to the library and returning home with a tall stack of books. Each child can borrow up to 30 books at a time, so we rarely actually buy books. P L A Y G R O U P 🏾 🏾 || We've just come back from trying out a new mama & baby group. Since #Chiddybear doesn't start nursery until January, I try to fill our days with activities so he doesn't stay home and get restless and so that we can all socialise. . . . . . What are some of the things I look for in a #playgroup ? 1️⃣ Somewhere close by. I also prefer midday activities to early mornings. 2️⃣ Variety of toys and activities. Toddlers get bored easily. We need to be switching it up regularly. 3️⃣ Suitable for both of my kids. So baby and toddler friendly. 4️⃣ A place that thinks of the mums too. Today's playgroup had a lady who was threading eyebrows for a fiver. That was a hit! Not for me though, I will keep my brows thanks! . . . . . What about you guys? 2 M O N T H M A R K 🏾🏾 || For a while I was so scared to go out on my own with them. The anxiety was real! But somehow around the 6/7week mark, something clicked. I figured out how to get both of them and myself ready just to go to the shop down the road. We started going to playgroups again. God knows #Chiddybear was getting bored at home. Everyone that said I'd be ok, was right. Things are getting better and we do alright most days. I still get nervous. I still panic when I don't know which baby to attend to first and I still get weepy when I can't find time to throw together a meal for myself (y'all know breastfeeding and hunger don't go well together).
