No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.
The beauty of Kerala and its people has inspired me in so many ways throughout my life.
It is the place of my roots and among many other things it is where I first learned about Yoga and Ayurveda as a child. Ways of living that continue to shape my life as a grown up in the western world.
Kerala is also referred to as the land of coconuts, the spice garden of India, and God’s own country. There is a reason for these nicknames...️ Anyone who has been to the backwaters, where part of my family lives, knows what simple and pure lives people there have. Experiencing their true happiness while living with only basic necessities was one of the most impactful and wonderful things I’ve seen in my life.
It’s devastating to see how so many families with their children are now, at this moment, loosing their homes and lives because of this natural disaster.
It’s a time where people need a helping hand. Together with my family we have pledged our support and I encourage you to do the same.
