I realize that gastric bypass isn’t for everyone, that some people don’t think it’s healthy, or that it’s an easy way out ... guess what? You’re wrong. So 🖕🏼. This has been the hardest thing I have ever done. I have learned more about myself on this journey than i ever thought possible. I WANT healthy choices. i do not want to cheat. i don’t want sweets. I want to move my body, and I want to feel good. Tomorrow marks 8 weeks post op, and for he most part, all of my food restrictions are lifted. Some i will live with forever - avoid sugars, no drinking with meals, small portions, eat slowly, no more alcohol ....all healthy rules for me.
I feel like a million bucks, i feel so happy, so healthy, and ready to love myself!
I’m 47lbs down, and I’m hoping to drop another 80lbs. Non scale victories are my focus - i am getting a waist now, and ... my @treadreading shirt finally fits!
I can’t wait to push myself and see where I can go!
