Been trying to add some serious mass to my legs by incorporating high volume training. 🔥
8 sets of squats, 6 sets of Rdl, 6 sets of leg press etc. (Total of 77 squat reps above 60kg performed, 110 reps including bodyweight)<high volume 👊

-Cut fresh salmon into multiple servings. -Season Salmon with salt, pepper, paprika, fresh minced garlic, and lemon juice.
-Spray air fryer with your choice of oil (I used avocado oil), place 2 pieces of fish at a time and cook at 390 degrees for 7 minutes. Remove fish, remove skin, serve.

-Trim Brussel sprouts and cut in half long ways.

So happy I waited to run until later tonight since this morning it was storming 🤦🏻‍♀️ there was no way I was going to run 5 miles and make it all the way on the treadmill. Week 1 of half training is complete and I ended it a little sweaty 🙈 .

Today it was hit, 91 degrees to be exact. I am tired and sore from lack of sleep and playing a lot of volleyball yesterday then working all day today. I have work and homework to get done. La verdad ✅ lo que necesitas para lograr tu transformación, no es mas que elaborar un buen plan de alimentación, sencillo de llevar, con los alimentos que a ti te gusten para poder que sea sostenible en el tiempo.

1. Calcula tu deficit calórico objetivo - No me interesa si eres vegetariano, vegeano, solo comes pescado, o si eres medico, policía, abogado. La UNICA MANERA para perder peso de manera eficiente y saludable es siendo consistente en un deficit calórico. En la web con seguridad encontraran muchísimas formulas y calculadoras para conocerlo, pero yo les recomiendo algo muy sencillo: multipliquen su peso objetivo (en libras) por 11-12 (para quienes son extremadamente activos pueden multiplicarlo por 13).

Independientemente de tus calorias, es probable que debas ajustarlos después de unas semanas. En promedio, querrás perder 0.5 - 1% de peso corporal cada semana (depende de cada cuerpo). Si tienes mas de 50 lbs de sobrepeso, probablemente perderás 1.5% de tu peso corporal por semana.

2. Proteína - Conocer tu cantidad de proteína en gramos nos asegurara que estas comiendo suficiente proteína para proteger tus músculos.

3. Grasa - Esto nos permitirá conocer la cantidad de grasas buenas que necesitamos diariamente, es importante que conozcamos la cantidad ya que la grasa es el macronutriente mas calórico pues 1gramo de grasa tiene 9 calorías.

4. Carbohidratos - es nuestra principal fuente de energía, sin embargo el cuerpo podría vivir sin ellos. Lo reducimos sin eliminarlo ya que es fundamental para nuestro rendimiento física y mental, ademas, siendo honestos es el macronutriente que mas disfrutamos y que con seguridad toda nuestra vida comeremos. Tip: Si el 80% de tus alimentos provienen de fuentes enteras (🍎🥑🥔🍖🥗), es totalmente viable y posible que disfruten de alimentos chatarra (🍕🍔🍩🍪) para cumplir el 20% faltante.

I realized a lot of fitness trainers or just people that train feel the need to always take the pictures after working out when the muscles are at the peak.

Taking regular pictures are perfectly fine! I honestly don't like the pump because its temporary. I like seeing the muscles that I have so I know exactly what I need to consistently work on so I can permanently look like the pump. The aesthetic look is everything to me 🤟🏽

Para quem me conhece e lida comigo sabe que sou extremamente exigente no que toca à parte do treino! .
Então passando a explicação do título é muito simples: parar e pensar pois vejo muita gente a fazer asneira no treino só porque viu alguém fazer na internet sem supervisão de um profissional, vejo gente a correr quilómetros atrás de quilómetros “desesperados” para recuperar tanto tempo perdido, vejo gente a seguir dietas na qual não posso opinar porque não é a minha área (falem com um nutricionista), vejo gente a tentar produtos milagrosos, vejo gente a criticar aqueles que se importam com o seu bem estar durante um ano inteiro, e porque vejo isto? .
👉🏾Porque o Verão está aí à porta, no entanto, e se tivesse treinado durante um ano não apenas pela estética mas pela saúde? E se tivesse regrado a minha alimentação durante um ano e não a limitar a apenas dois/três meses? E se em vez de criticar tivesse a humildade de chegar e pedir ajuda ou uma motivação para fazer o mesmo de uma forma adaptada à pessoa em causa? Neste caso torna-se tudo uma questão de “e se”!Podem colocar a vocês mesmos, este tipo de questões pois apenas vos irá fazer refletir e consequentemente ter uma auto-avaliação daquilo que estão a fazer errado ou a deixar de fazer podendo mesmo começar já... Toda a gente gosta de festas, de sair com os amigos e há sempre tempo para tudo, tem que haver também é tempo para não falhar com o compromisso com a nossa saúde! .
Deixo uma nota importante aos meus atletas que se mantém um ano inteiro com o mesmo compromisso do primeiro dia em que começaram, são para mim a minha maior motivação e o meu maior orgulho! Obrigado a todos eles por fazerem parte desta família e tornarem o trabalho “mais fácil”. .

Então passando a explicação do título é muito simples: parar e pensar pois vejo muita gente a fazer asneira no treino só porque viu alguém fazer na internet sem supervisão de um profissional, vejo gente a correr quilómetros atrás de quilómetros “desesperados” para recuperar tanto tempo perdido, vejo gente a seguir dietas na qual não posso opinar porque não é a minha área (falem com um nutricionista), vejo gente a tentar produtos milagrosos, vejo gente a criticar aqueles que se importam com o seu bem estar durante um ano inteiro, e porque vejo isto? . 🏾Porque o Verão está aí à porta, no entanto, e se tivesse treinado durante um ano não apenas pela estética mas pela saúde? E se tivesse regrado a minha alimentação durante um ano e não a limitar a apenas dois/três meses? E se em vez de criticar tivesse a humildade de chegar e pedir ajuda ou uma motivação para fazer o mesmo de uma forma adaptada à pessoa em causa? Neste caso torna-se tudo uma questão de “e se”!Podem colocar a vocês mesmos, este tipo de questões pois apenas vos irá fazer refletir e consequentemente ter uma auto-avaliação daquilo que estão a fazer errado ou a deixar de fazer podendo mesmo começar já... Toda a gente gosta de festas, de sair com os amigos e há sempre tempo para tudo, tem que haver também é tempo para não falhar com o compromisso com a nossa saúde! . Deixo uma nota importante aos meus atletas que se mantém um ano inteiro com o mesmo compromisso do primeiro dia em que começaram, são para mim a minha maior motivação e o meu maior orgulho! As many of you that follow my journey may know,  I am a Christian. This morning, the Lord put in my spirit that I need to fast and pray. As Christians, when facing tough decisions or tough times, the first thing we need to do is call on God. I've found myself putting things before God lately and that may be the very reason for this. I won't only be fasting from food and drink, but also social media. I'll do this for a week and see if I need to go longer. I won't be doing any weight updates simply because I don't want to put anything in the way of what God is doing.  With all that being said,  I will see you guys in a week. 💕

When I made this page I told myself I'd always post the raw truth no matter how tough it may be. So here it is: I didn't not stick the plan of only weighing myself Sundays. I actually gave in and weighed myself today (which I wish I hadn't). As you have seen this week I have been a little off track,  going back to bad habits and not sticking to my workout schedule. I weighed 225.6 last Sunday. Today I weighed 226.8, so that's 1.2lbs. Is it a lot? Absolutely not. Will the scale still get you down even if it goes in the wrong direction the tiniest bit? Unfortunately, yes. I instantly got all "you can't do this,  you'll always be this way,  give up" on myself. Then as I was getting ready today I put on my go-to Olive green tee. I noticed it fit a little different than I picture my mom had sent me. So I pulled up the picture and it's a bigger difference than what I thought! All my downing thoughts instantly went away and I remembered why I even started this journey. Sometimes you just have to SEE the difference just to make yourself feel a bit better about the process. .

Good morning 😊 I thought I'd share this with you guys simply because self love is SO SO important. It makes a difference in your confidence, your relationships and so much more. The more love you show yourself the more you're able to give to others. 💕 Just because you haven't reached your goal weight or your goal jeans/shirt doesn't mean you're not beautiful! You're just not where you want to be yet,  and that's OK! Love yourself before the journey,  and during the journey because your journey isn't temporary. It's a lifestyle change! .

Hey you guys 👋 So this post is basically just an update on how my journey is going so far. .

Yesterday I did not stick to daily goals of any sort and I instantly regretted it. Today I woke up early and got my workout in and I may even get another one in just to make up for yesterday. I haven't eaten badly, and as a whole I'm feeling pretty good about things. (A lot better than I was yesterday) .

I also just want to thank each and every one of you for the support that you guys give. It is very appreciated and does not go unnoticed! Much love to all of you 💕

Legday!❤️ For cable Squats you can definitely go heavier!, this was my first time/set so I went light. You will need to do it with a friend tho because you might need help to get started if you add more weight. I loved them btw! For pistol squats, weight needs to be set to heavier.. (I had mine on 40 or 50) for the resistance or it will be almost impossible to do them..
