Cooling off his afternoon with this delicious and refreshing tropical smoothie bowl! Ingredients in this bowl make it so Nourishing and anti- inflammatory with foods like pineapple, ginger and healthy fats which are all so great. Makes for a perfect summer treat! ‼️ I hung up my scrubs and stethoscope in February, and am now working from home! ➖When I wake up at 6:00 am, it’s not to hurry out the door to make it to a 12-14 hour work shift on my feet, but to have time to myself, with coffee ☕️ , my Bible ✝️, and my journal. ➖I have been able to talk with and minister to women on the phone every morning this week 🙏🏼 ➖I am still able to help people find solutions that can better their life and their health! ➖I am able to share more time with my family!!! ➖ I am getting a weekly paycheck 💲💵 and my earning potential is expected to grow astronomically as markets have been growing like crazy 💥🙌🏼 I work wherever I want, or where I am inspired. My favorite places are gardens, the cutest coffee shops in Nashville, or in my living room. Currently, I am designing my new office space 💖

I made @unboundwellness’s Paleo Chocolate Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches except I left out the carob (because I’m allergic and also think it tastes gross. Whoever thought carob was an excellent sub for real chocolate was out of their mind) and made them vanilla. I also subbed the gelatin for mashed banana because at this point ya’ll should know that gelatin and I don’t get alone

I whipped up some coconut cream for the middle of my sandwiches instead of ice cream because I’m obsessed with coconut cream and had a jar in the fridge that needed to get used. Served with some fresh berries and I’m a happy dessert camper

✔️FACT: I love corn tortillas. They remind me of my dad’s cooking- traditional, comfy, amazing Mexican food (I def got my cooking skills from my pops). His motto- “if you have tortillas and eggs, you have dinner”☺️⁣

It gets really loud in my head. Sometimes I send myself a little crazy with the endless thoughts, stories, to do lists, protocols, plans, fantasies, etc. There are times where I feel like I'm breaking my brain by pushing it to burnout 🤯 I know it isn't sustainable, I know it isn't optimal, and yet I let myself go there and indulge in the addiction to thinking 💭 There are many things that take me out of my head and into my body, and apart from cuddling or floating in the ocean, working out is one of the best embodiment practices for me 🙏 It allows for me to disconnect from my monkey mind and reconnect to my sacred temple, my body 💛 Having a practice or place where you have the space to connect to yourself is so important! What do you do when you need to balance out an overactive mind? 🤔

First time we go separate ways. 😿I haven't been away from my older son more than a day 😭 now he is going with dad for 2 weeks to South America to visit his grandparents. Their health could not wait for all of us to go and we couldn't afford yearly £4K tickets only holiday either so I am staying home with my youngest son. Bond. Play all day. Go swimming. Cosleep. Still wake up early 😅 I will take an honest break from Instagram to treasure these 2 weeks. And taking over garden hq 👩🏻‍🌾 hubby put me in charge of his babies (plants). 😬☺️

People ask how I manage to cook every single meal every single day with 3 kids... and here's how!!!!👆👆👆 I make EASY dinners🌱🍄🌶 Roast a bunch of #veggies , chop some lettuce,  cook a bit of protein and BAM... dinner done in no time and with pretty much ZERO effort! The goods in this #dinnerbowl are roasted sweet potatoes and carrots done on a sheet pan with coconut oil and kelp salt, romaine lettuce and parsley chopped topped with pureed #avocado, garlic, lemon juice and #cilantro and served with panseared #grassfed #steak 🐄 ! Most my dinners take no more than 20 minutes to prep from start to finish✔✔ If I really don't have time,  I'll #steamveggies instead of roasting them and it honestly doesn't get easier than that! I line the baking sheet with parchment paper to save on dishes too!😉

Perfect for this HUMID AF weather 🔥☀️😆 Using nature’s natural electrolyte (coconut water) and @goultima to get that “koolaid” flavor but without all the fake dyes, sugar and chemicals. I used @vitacoco Coconut + Pineapple water 😍Fun fact, coconut water is also a great source of potassium. 😉Great after a long run 🏃🏻‍♀️

Rather than tell you about how blueberries are a superfood, let’s talk about something a little more… meaty… Liver! Seriously one of the most powerful nutrient-dense superfoods we have.

Liver has some amazing benefits: -Contains an abundance of skin-glowing nutrients. -Great for fertility and during pregnancy. -Rich in CoQ10, which is great reducing inflammation, cardiovascular health + improving endurance. -Improves detoxification. -High in folate, active vitamin A, Vitamin B6, + biotin.

Basically liver is a powerhouse. If you are scared of eating liver, there are capsules to try, but I suggest trying to find a way to get liver in it’s whole form and just try new ways to prepare it! I also suggest trying chicken livers first (from high quality chickens) since it has a milder taste and easier to mask with some ground beef or pork + seasoning. In my stories I talked about something I highly suggest doing when preparing liver if you wanna check it out!

Type 5 Type is a...borderline normal stool! It is heading towards the more liquid end of the scale, but it is still considered a desirable stool quality. This type of stool is often passed 2-3 times per day (not more!).
Strategies? - Perhaps adding more fiber and volume to your diet (flax, chia, artichokes, edible fruit/veggie skins) and incorporating a multi-strain probiotic to improve digestion of your food and bulk of your stool! 
A properly formed stool allows you to remove excess hormones, cholesterol and toxins from the body! .

But the cool thing about this coaching gig is that I can literally work from anywhere, as long as I’ve got wifi 😏🤩 .
I’m still so new to this and my beginning has been slow, but that’s okay - this is my journey, my story, and I’m just here to help people! I want ladies (and gents) to know that they’re capable of more than they believe right now, that they can push their limits and see results and change, not just in their physical appearance but in their life as a whole! 
This isn’t just a quick fix scheme to get people to workout and lose a little weight, if that’s their goal and if that happens - GREAT! 
But I like the big picture. 
I like the healthy lifestyle. The exercise, the nutrition, the way you speak to and about yourself, your daily routines and environments. That shit lights me up. 
I’m doing this on a bigger scale now because I want to be able to help MORE people than just the few in my area who have sought me out. 
The internet is a C R A Z Y thing and it gives people opportunities every. single. day. to bust out of their comfort zones and reach so many more people!!! I’m here to help. I WANT to help.

My first attempt at Shakshuka. I went for a more Mediterranean vibe! 
You’ll need:
4 eggs
Handful of fresh chopped basil
1 can of tomato sauce 
Drizzle of Avocado oil
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Directions:
Add some avocado oil to a medium sauce pan
Next add 1 can of tomato sauce
 Toss in a handful of fresh chopped basil
Crack in 4 pasture raised eggs (I use @vitalfarms)
Cover and let cook on low until egg whites are cooked to desired consistency (3-4 minutes)
I topped with a handful of mixed greens (I love @blueskyorganicfarms), feta cheese, and of course AVO, but you can get pretty creative with this dish! 🥑 🍅 🌿🍳

You’ll need: 4 eggs Handful of fresh chopped basil 1 can of tomato sauce Drizzle of Avocado oil •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Directions: Add some avocado oil to a medium sauce pan Next add 1 can of tomato sauce Toss in a handful of fresh chopped basil Crack in 4 pasture raised eggs (I use @vitalfarms ) Cover and let cook on low until egg whites are cooked to desired consistency (3-4 minutes) I topped with a handful of mixed greens (I love @blueskyorganicfarms ), feta cheese, and of course AVO, but you can get pretty creative with this dish! 🥑 - 6 hours ago

I'm gonna be dead freakin' honest with you...⠀

In my 2 week trip to Israel, I indulged more than I had planned. Prior to my trip I worked hard to shed fat and improve body composition. IMO vacation is NOT an ideal time to pursue fat loss - so my goal was to enjoy and maintain. ⠀
⠀
I also made a CONSCIOUS choice that if I gained a lb or two in favor of memories and experiences, it wouldn't be a big deal.⠀
⠀
I had the most amazing time, and experiencing all the flavors and food was a big part of that. Sometimes you have to choose #memoriesovermacros and that is exactly what I did. For the most part I ate healthy, but I never passed up a trip to Anita's gelato (THE BEST - went there 4 times) or a Hakozem falafel.⠀
⠀
Even though I indulged more than I planned, it didn't mean that I went overboard and stuffed myself silly - this never feels good for me. Also, vacation for me doesn't mean that I abandon workouts. I still worked out here and there and my family walks about 20,000 steps per day so it was a very active trip.⠀
⠀
When I got back from vacation, I wanted to get a gauge of where my weight was at and was fully prepared to be holding on to some extra fluff (let me tell you I sure FELT like I gained a few because of all the water I was holding on to from travel and rich food).⠀
⠀
I was in shock to learn that despite my 3,000+ calorie days, I didn't gain a lb, AND even if I did - it wouldn't have been a big deal!⠀

The key to staying on track while on vacation is deciding CONSCIOUSLY what your goals are and paying attention to how you feel. ⠀

Taking action towards living a healthier lifestyle 🤓🍎

Did you know that the most common remark from people is not the regrets they have done, but the regrets of what they didn’t do. Most of these regrets stem from poor health conditions whether its mental, physical, internal or external. Whether they could’ve prevented an illness/disease when choosing healthier choices according to their diet or that they’ve wanted the body of their dreams.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If people have the power to change, why don’t they?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Getting started is the hardest part. It is human nature to feel uncomfortable and want to quit, but I promise you that it becomes easier over time. I can firmly validate that creating any unnatural good habit takes discipline and patience. I was there once too and pretty much any person who has this perceived “will power” struggled at one point too.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The fact of the matter is; no matter when you start to make active changes you will have to go through being uncomfortable and stick with it. If you are waiting for “the right time” it will never come. You have to make the choice to set working out and nutrition as a priority.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So, what separates health conscious or fit people away from others who are less motivated or mindful? It’s their drive. They don’t make excuses and they prioritize time. When they are dealt the shittier end of the stick, worked +12hrs that day, are going through a rough time, etc.. they make a conscious effort to stay on track, get in some kind of workout and eat right.

If you tell yourself you don’t have time and you consistently put your health on the back burner “for later”, chances are you will keep telling yourself that years from now and maybe the rest of your life. If you are out of shape or suffering health concerns; How did you get to the point you are at now? More than likely, excuses to cover up from getting uncomfortable, being lazy and having the fear of failing. Reality is, you will only fail if you give up. If you don’t give up you will never fail.

◾️PROCEDIMIENTO:
▪️Precalentar el horno a 180 ºC ▪️Poner todos los ingredientes en la procesadora (menos los chips de chocolate. Si decidís usarlos se agregan al final) y procesar hasta que se integren bien y no queden grumos. ▪️( se puede hacer también licuando todos los ingredientes húmedos y después mezclándolos con los secos si no tenes procesadora. Es importante que no queden grumos y la palta esté bien integrada con el resto de los ingredientes) ▪️ Volcar la mezcla y esparcirla en una fuente previamente engrasada. ▪️Hornear de 10 a 15 minutos.▪️Dejar enfriar. Una vez fríos llevar a la heladera por 1 hora y cortar. ▪️Servir como quieras 😊

Mmmmm SaLaDz... 🥗 I remember I used to eat them ALL THE TIME in high school because “I wanted to lose weight”. 😶 I even used to eat them in the winter ❄️ when it was FREEZING! Eating in season has become so important in my lifestyle. There’s a reason we crave lighter foods in the summer bc they are in season. Our fruits and veggies are much more nutrient dense when picked in season & didn’t travel from miles & miles away! My salads today look more like this... & I LOVE THEM ❤️ .

Days like today remind me of why I chose to do what I do.

My day was a mix of being productive and taking time to relax. I love how becoming an entrepreneur gives me the flexibility and freedom to plan out my days how I want to and I’m so excited for the day when this becomes my full-time reality.

I not only prepared a few orders, but I also did all of my laundry, cleaned the house, watched Netflix, took a nap and worked on some content for Erb & Spice. Now I’m off to enjoy dinner with my Dad. ❤️

How does your garden grow? Mine is looking beautiful this year, thanks to a change of plans and more time at home. I must say I’m not terribly disappointed that I get to spend more time in this happy place!

Organic soil that has been fed well is to a plant what a healthy gut is to a person. If the soil is deficient in nutrients, your plants will show it and you are what you eat! Everything is connected so feed your soil well, and feed yourself even better!
