People ask me all the time, how do you do it? How do you stay so motivated on your diet and training program? Doesn’t life get in the way?
Yes, life definitely gets in the way, anything worth having in life doesn’t come easy. But I made a choice when I was 13 that I didn’t want to be a fat kid anymore, that I didn’t want to be made fun of anymore. I made that commitment, and that commitment has stuck with me through the last 10 years. That commitment has gotten me through the tough, the bad and the ugly; that commitment has turned me into the person I am today.
After being committed to something for so long, it creates a certain type of person, a certain type of character that now I couldn’t quit even if I wanted to. This journey has taught me that I don’t need anything but breath from my body and life to keep me motivated.
If you would have shown a picture of myself now to the 13 year old me, I would have been in AWE. The journey does not stop here, as Matthew McConaughey said, ‘my hero is always going to be me 10 years from now, I’m never going to be my hero by it’s what Keeps me going, something to chase after’
So when you’re feeling unmotivated, think about where you started, and how every single day you SELL OUT, and you’re ALL IN, is one step closer to your goals. #transformation - 11 hours ago
