I traded my running shoes in for my bike this weekend. It’s been almost a year since I cycled. My brother in law joined me on this near 15 mile sunset ride. Good times @amphotographics ********
This weekend was full of up and down emotions. I enjoyed seeing a wonderful couple get married, celebrated my Mother in laws 69th birthday and spent great quality time with friends and family. This weekend also included a very dear friend of ours and a wonderful leader at our church go to her eternal home this weekend. Please say a prayer for the Bell family. This family has blessed so many and with the loss of our Pastors Mom, Jodi Bell, it will be difficult for all of us. Through it all - God is faithful and when we lean on Him we have hope, peace and grace to be able to stand strong in faith. Some things are hard to understand but we must understand that God has a perfect plan. The best is yet to come when we know where we’re going when Our time is done here on this earth. Heaven is home. God bless your night and week.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
