On Sunday, at midnight, I started baking cookies for the #24HourGiveNYC . Throughout the course of the day over 600 cookies were delivered to strangers and friends in New York City. Dozens of inspirational post cards were placed in bookstores and subways. A park was cleaned. Breakfast and dinner were served at two separate shelters. Four bags of clothing were donated. Candles were lit in church. Letters were written. Kindness was shared.
Look at what The Smile Project was able to accomplish in 1 day. In 1 city. With less than $100.
This summer, we are embarking on a Kindness tour across America. If we could do all of the above in 24 hours, imagine what we can accomplish in 54 days across 25 states with your support.
I’ve never made a fundraising ask on behalf of The Smile Project, but June 23rd, the day the trip begins, will be the 2,419th day of Happiness and I’m passing the hat. One dollar for every day of intentional joy.
If you have the means to support, please consider doing so. All money goes directly to the nonprofit and all donations are tax deductible (plus, I threw in some great incentive prizes). // link in bio \\ Full review of #24HourGiveNYC coming soon. Stay tuned.
