Today was a really good day!
I received an amazing compliment from an "outsider" that gave me so much motivation & energy that I smashed some extreme goals today! I did my longest continuous run EVER [4 km]
️ I ran at quite a nice pace, regardless of how far I went & how tired I felt [7:30 /km]
️ I did my longest hill run to date and it took up almost 50% of my run!
️️ I only stopped 5 times, twice because I felt tired & had to give myself a pep talk to continue. And the rest of the times my boys needed to mark some trees 🐕🌳
️ I did abs, legs, as well as back & shoulders (just one round of each though) <--- that's how motivated I was after the compliment!
️ I did like 20 pull ups [not all at once!! It took me about 30 minutes...] to try and take my #flexFriday photo, because I forgot to take it while @jappies_dewet was home today
️ I also made some banana loafs that came out perfectly, using a simple recipe I got off the internet, along with my @bodybywild Oh So Cocoa Vegan Protein Powder & @goodheart_sa Freezer Dried Banana Fruit Chips for the one loaf. And my @bodybywild Strawberry Mousse Protein Powder & @goodheart_sa Freezer Dried Strawberry Fruit Chips for the second loaf, but I'll post about them later Today was an awesome day!
I also learned some pro tips today
️ Don't eat droëwors as an afternoon snack when you plan on jogging in the late afternoon
️ Don't jog on a Friday late afternoon, you'll smell braai's your whole route through & feel hungry, but unable to eat, thanks to the droëwors taste that keeps popping up in your mouth
️ Don't bake rusks after back & shoulder day [and 20 pull ups] stirring the dough feels impossible
