Happy third birthday to the blog Dios Ti Agngina which means thank you in Ilocano! As a second generation Filipino American I can't help my fascination with the Philippines. I have memories as a little girl struggling with the heat, eating cooked banana at my maternal grandparents' house, and screaming to the top of my lungs with my legs dangling between the first and second floors because the floor collapsed due to termite infestation. I remember visiting as a young adult to such beautiful places like Tagaytay and Hidden Valley. Right before my wedding I remember visiting different wedding vendors and choosing my wedding ring with my dear mother-in-law who gave my very smart advice. The Philippines, you are always on my mind!
The newest Fascination post is up by my sweet cousin Angela Gabrielle Fabunan @poetrymemory. Angela writes about her recent move from New York City to the Philippines. It's beautifully written and makes you just want to take an airplane and visit the Philippines now. 🕶🛍 - 4 hours ago
