Something you might not know about me is that I myself struggled for YEARS with this very thing.
I would go ALL day without eating, in an attempt to get “skinnier”.
Not understanding at the time that actions have consequences, I developed hypoglycaemia, anemia and my hormones were all over the map.
This was BEFORE I was diagnosed with celiac disease, IBS and leaky gut. Oh boy. My teens were a challenging time. 🖤
It took me YEARS to collect the tools, skills + mindset needed to finally make peace with my body + food.
To find foods, systems + truths that weren’t based in a shallow, money-making diet industry that only wanted my money.
It seemed everywhere I turned “this” or “that” was the “secret” thing I needed to heal my body.
It took me YEARS.
To let go of the GUILT of indulging.
To quit self sabotaging myself when I “slipped up” while on vacation.
To start recognizing my cravings for something other than just a “sweet tooth”.
What’s the point of all of this?!
When I look back at how far I’ve come, I’m proud. I’m not perfect by any means (did y’all see my drunken week in Mexico or no?!)
BUT I also have a LOT to share with my clients, the women who choose to coach with me.
