Well, actually there is a little truth in here. Cutting carbs will make you loose a little weight BUT that is only water, NOT FAT. As i wrote in a few posts a go: glycogen (=carbs) binds to water. 1 gr of glycogen binds to 3-4 gr of water.
So if you eat more carbs, you will hold more water. This results in more weight on the SCALE ⚖️. When you eat less carbs, you will loose more water and the number on the scale will decrease. This is the reason why people think that low carb diets are good for loosing weight, when only focussing on the scale.
🦄This is not the same as loosing FAT. To loose fat you have to be in a calorie deficit over a longer period of time. Not just a day, not just a week, but weeks or even months. Consistently.
🧚🏽♀️There are no special diets to loose bodyfat. Only a Calorie deficit. You can eat low carb or only protein for a thousend years. But if you are not in a calorie deficit, you wont loose fat. #caloriedeficit #nutritiontip #carbs
