I owe you guys so many food pics! I got really lax about posting daily, when I had started out so good! We’re now 19 days in, well more than half way done and it feels good! I feel soooo much better than I did in week 2 which was plagued with intense cravings and low energy. I’m not sure I can call this #tigerblood because I’m not running any marathons over here, but I feel good, energized, and all bad cravings have subsided for now. Here’s some of the things we’ve ate over the last week. Also, I feel like I might go past the 30 days, because I’m feeling good and not sure I’ll feel ready for reintro in just 11 days. .
Now for the good part....
1st) white chicken chili from #therealfoodrds . This is the second time I’ve made it, but this time was way more delicious and filling for me. I actually used beef broth, because I had no chicken broth, and in addition to the peppers, onions, and garlic, I threw in some fingerling potatoes and 1 small red skin potato because I needed to use them up and wanted to make the soup more filling. You guys, it was AMAZING!
2nd) Hawaiian Chicken over spinach, red cabbage, carrots, sliced almonds and some creamy avocado, also from #therealfoodrds . It’s yum, super simple to prepare, and tastes even better cold the next day.
3rd) @aidellssausage sautéed with a yellow bell pepper, a few fingerling potatoes, and spinach. Compliant mustard on top. Easy and yum.
4th) Taco Stuffed Sweet Potaotes from #primalgourmet - you guys are seriously missing out if you have not made this super savory comfort meal yet.
5th) Turkey with butternut squash over spinach. I was actually recreating the recipe I’ve got from #myheartbeets but hers calls for ground beef and with ground beef it’s so much better. I really can only eat ground turkey in curry, because it’s covered in so many great flavors, otherwise the meat is just gross to me.
6th) whole30 compliant Barbacoa bowl from #chipotle - yaaaay for not having to cook! .
