No matter how motivated we are to achieve a goal, eat better, go to the gym, quit smoking or become healthier , sometimes we slip up. We’re only human, after all.
Every setback we have be it small or large, is an opportunity for us to learn and grow.
However what happens when the setback comes when you least expect it? 💭
I had a major setback today which caused me to have my own “pity party” feel extra sorry myself, get upset, then get angry until I could process all these overwhelming feelings. Having had to deal with a health condition for over 15 years I always pride myself on how I manage it and keep myself super healthy, but today I had a kick that reminded be that it’s a battle I will never win, although I hope to keep it from ever fully beating me.
To get myself back on track I .
Accepted that I am still doing really positive things to keep myself really healthy .
Processed the negative feelings I had , the whys and how’s of what is going wrong .
Asked for help from my doctor family and nutritionist to get me back on track again .
And agreed with myself to never give up! .
So remember we all have setbacks what ever they are in our lives but we can all bounce back from them - 11 hours ago
