I was doubting if I should post this or not cause this is supposed to be a page of healthy & easy recipes, but I thought I should keep it as real as possible.
One night after din, Fred and I were sitting on the dinner table and we both looked at eachother and said "Dessert?"
Since it was after bakery hours we went to the supermarket on a dessert hunt.
I didn't know what I wanted, 'Maybe a dairy free co-yo icecream would do the trick', I thought, but Fred knew exactly what he wanted. He took me by his hand and guided me through the supermarket aisles. And there it was, glancing at us, this BIG, RADIANT Pavlova box!

But wait to hear our Christmas story first. We had a spontaneous & early Christmas dinner last year because I was going back to Bolivia for the holidays and Fred bought a pavlova for dessert that night.
Guuuuyzzz... the moment I tried that pavlova OMG. I was in heaven, with an orchestra of angels singing for me! My tongue felt like it was eating clouds! That is how fluffy, airy and perfect that pavlova was.
Anyway, fastforward to a few nights ago, I was expecting that same glorious moment...
As the pavlova came closer to my mouth, the more eager I became and when it finally did, I was...
It wasn't as awesome as I remembered it, it was actually TOO sweet, like you could taste the sugar crystals, simply not enjoyable. We ended up having this pavlova sitting in the fridge for the whole week cause neither of us wanted to have it 😕
Moral of the story:
Make your own pavlovas and eat them in the afternoon when you can burn the extra energy, not late at night
If you're craving something sweet at night have a herbal tea with licorice, some dried fruits or a square of dark chocolate. It will be enough to satisfy the craving
